Caballerial - Frontside 360 aerial, fakie to regular. Named after Steve Caballero.
Here’s a photo I took of BA over the weekend. He and Rick Howard wore matching shirts.

just got halfcab frontside flips down the other day… sup bitches?
wats weird is i practiced the trick for like 5 minutes before landing it.
but i have been practicing tre flips every now and then for months and i still cant land that shit. i snapped my deck out of frustration the other day because i couldn’t land that shit.
i either rotate it perfectly and get one foot on, or land on the paint with both feet. i dont know what the fucking secret is to that trick, just more practice i guess
Jamal Smith is fucken sick with all those crazy ass stalls. I laughed for a bit when I first heard that qoute.
I just completely gave up on regular tres for now, learn them fakie they are WAYYYY easier. I’ve just been working on pure switch trying to even out both of my shoes. I don’t like having one shoe completely torn up while the other looks new.
lol true that.
i have gone through so many pairs of shoes, its weird though. i bust out nollie tricks all the time but my back shoe remains immaculate.
i need to save up money to get the Nike SB zoom tre’s. Those things are supposed to be the ultimate invincible skating shoes
How much are those Nike SB’s going for? 80 to 100? That’s mad expensive. haha The most I’ve paid for shoes were probably like 70 bux in total due to the 10 dollar shipping price. Ugh
I just recently ordered some red Emericas Francis Lo’s just for the hell of it. It was about 53 dollars with shipping. lol
yeah sbs are about 80 to ? depending on hype of shoe. lucky for my local skateshop, they go on sale pretty quick so i get em for less than retail
Less than retail, must be good. haha The cheapest shoes I can find here is at Ross but they never have my size.
yeah va beach had a dunk craze for about 03 to 06/7 now they are all about vans now. its dieing down now so they sit on the shelves and they hit the sales rack very fast.

My cousin @ 1:10-1:25
Cool footage, I haven’t been to VA Beach/Norfolk in years.
Sick footage, that Bieter dude had tons of style.
LOL@ That black dude eating it on that bank in the third video. Omfg i’m surprise he didn’t kill himself he went down that shit with no knees.
Good footy, that was a chillin switch heel from ur cuz
Its awesome theres a woodpushing thread on here!
Nice man even fakie fs flips are hard for me. I feel you on the tre I can never get those on lock, but for some reason I feel it easier to put my front foot up towards the bolts for instead of the middle.
Tre flips are all about the back foot. Just scoop it with your back foot, catch it in front of you with your front foot, like Timmy Knuth does it. Jason Lee is officially replaced as the 360 flip champ. This is declared by me.
Yeah when it comes to any trick, the higher you put your front foot the more stability you will have. It’s mostly a matter of style, and the complimentary back foot positioning, but notice Mike Mo’s foot placement in his opening trick in his forecast part, the flat ground tre his foot isn’t that high

I wish i could do tre flips like that
But at about 1:11, he does a tre flip over a set and his front foot is so high. steeeeezy
When it comes to taking a trick down stairs, gaps, step ups, anything, it is imperative that you front foot is high and around the front bolts or else you will simply have no control over the board and it will most likely over rotate or get away from u.
edit: most of the time, you are going to land in the same position you take off in. i think it’s a psychological thing. when i do my heelflips, my front foot is on the bolts, with my toe barely hanging off. heelfip is my best/favorite trick
Yeah, maybe I can get a guest trick in the vid his crew is making, who knows.
Here’s an amazing video for you guys, slow mo sequences of Mike Mo busting out some sexy ass tricks.
I’m convinced Mike Mo has the best style in the world, probably in skateboarding history.

Watch and learn homies
I found a perrrrrrrrrrrrfect example of why having your front foot higher = better stability
