Skateboarding: Kick Push and Fall

Tampa Pro next weekend. Anyone want me to be on the lookout for someone in particular?

Edit:
They still make rollerblades?

Lookout for Marc Johnson, and Mike Mo if he goes.

well everyones looking out Mista mo
yep! they still do make blades. the scene is prettysolid theres a decent scene around where I live

I heard these two Chinese/ASian brothers were the best at Rollerblading.

I like Rollerblading, but man their community seems REALLY underground. Like

I don’t think either of those guys are gonna be there. Usually see Brian Anderson and Koston though. I hope they’ll show up this year.

Hmmmm then I’ll say, look out for Chaz Ortiz for me.

Kids damn good, but I think he’s kinda overhyped. People calling him the next Sheckler in terms of commercialization. Dudes still chill as fuck though. I met him up in North Chicago before.

Buseniz is going to kill it. Either he will win or not, he is still going to destroy that park. Probaply the best pro around at the moment.

Yeah, he ripped that place apart in 06. I can’t believe how fast that dude skates. I’m kinda hoping my friend Mike Peterson will do pretty well too, he won the thing a few years ago. He’s a dad like me and an awesome guy so I’m pulling for him.

I believe i just read some interview that stated that Dennis Buseniz is also a dad nowadays.

But yeah, i totally know what you mean. It makes to apreciate a skater more if he has other responsabilities than just to skate everyday.

everytime i see him on tv i feel like jumping him for his lunch money.

Hahaha

I know. Dude’s so small.

I was like “WTF this nigga signed with Gatorade?!”

Watching Mindfield right now.

Shit’s craaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy.

It’s not as tech as Fully Flared, but artistically, it’s something to behold.

Like it feels like I’m watching old school 70’s and 80’s Skateboarding with the way the cameras and stuff are. It’s definitely something new.

haha so i was at the park today, saw some fat ass kid eat major shit on like a 2 foot high roll in. he sweeped the board and was flailing about as he did it. super funny.

saw some dumbass kid bailing on the 3 flat 3 stair set with a huge ass cast on his arm. he was later seen sobbing while holding his arm. dumbass

i found 20 bucks on the floor, but to relieve my conscious i asked my friend if he lost any money, turns out he did. i asked him how much, bam 20. i returned it.

almost landed switch flip and a heel. dem shits are hard

my day in a nutshell

That ill ass hippie jump (my second favorite move to do BTW) Omar does over the banks was at the high school my cousin goes to in Raleigh…I will be hitting that up oneday.

I feel kinda bad for the kid. When I severely sprained my toe, I wanted to Skate again so badly. When you can’t skate that’s all you think about, is skating again.

My day in a nutshell.

I look outside, it looks sunny. Grab my jeans, my board, and a T-shirt. Look at the weather forecast, it’s 18 degrees outside =/

Yeah that shit was naaaaaaasty.

The guys also did some filming in Chicago for Josh Kalis’s part, and maybe some other people. Chicago looks ill as fuck to Skate. I just don’t have the skill yet, to take it street.

feels good to be a skater from vb

How is the front foot placement on moving ollies?

On my stationary ollies, my front foot is like really close to the tail of the board. Maybe a little under the middle of the board.

When I’m rolling however, my front foot is way far up, almost to the front bolts, and I can’t get it back in time or whatever. Where do you guys usually place your front foot on moving ollies?

i usually have mine not to far from the truck bolts but everyone has there own way

Yeah same, pretty close to the front bolts but I’ll move my foot back just a little if I’m going to ollie up a high ledge.

u want the best advice ever for ollies? KEEP YOUR FEET FLAT ONTHE BOARD. so no matter where u put your front foot (tuck more to get higher), KEEP ITTOTALLY FLATONTEHBOARD. nate jones told me that in 7th grade.
