I personally prefer Mind Field over FF. I truly like FF too, but Mind Field is more raw kind of skating. And deffinetly more timeless one.
Like i think that Fully Flared is going to get old pretty soon. If new technical tricks are main thing in the video then its going to be outdone in few years atleast.
Pappalardos part in FF is going to last longest.
And AVE’s part in Mind Field is so godly good. Straigt up gnarly.

I can’t wait for spring break, I just wanna go skate all fucken day and not worry about school or work.
I met Lester Kasai over the weekend (holy shit), and I also got to see Dave Duncan actually skating. He had a ‘Daggers’ logo from that old movie ‘Thrashin’ stenciled onto his board. This weekend was the Florida bowlriders cup, I went to that and took a bunch of photos. I posted it all up on my site.
I think Mind Field is a great video. I think Fully Flared is a great video. I don’t think one surpasses the other though, they are both different enough to warrant an equal amount of play time years down the road.
i went to my local skateshop and i saw bits and pieces of mind field and it looked pretty good so i’ll check it out.

is skate 2 any good? in skate, i could manipulate the char to make him look like he was really skating, complete with like pivots and overturned grinds, not popping too high in and out of grinds. some of my footage from that game actually tricked ppl into thinking it was real. does skate 2 have that level of control? when i played the demo, it felt waterd down and floaty, prolly to make tricks easier. maybe the finished version is better?

I found Skate2 to be much better than the first one. Alltrough i never played the first one as much i see you have played. The second game had me do some “filming” in it and stuff. Like what i see you have allready done in the first one.
Anyway, atleast for me, Skate2 is better game than Skate in everyway.

Thats what I’ve been doing, even though I only practiced my nose manuals today, gotta go harder tomorrow.
I was going to try to enter the industry guys bowl comp in tampa, so I was warming up to that by buying some knee pads. I’ve had to quit skating altogether this past month due to injuries, I messed up my foot pretty bad and I don’t know if I’ll be able to skate again any time soon. I can’t skate vert anymore, but I can haul ass around a bowl pretty well, I used to have kickflip front tail slides on a hip on lock.
That fucken sucks dude, I wish you a good and happy healing even though it sucks not skating. Foot injuries hurt so much, I can’t imagine the pain you were in. I just had a homeboy fall on his back on a rail on a kickflip frontside board and he could barely sit down.
Kickflip front tails?!?!? Damn dude, that shit’s nice. You’ll get them back, just takes a bit of time of course.

Yeah even though it gets insanely hot sometimes (earlier this year there were days with 45 degrees C) it never really gets cold enough to stop you from skating and since there’s like only one place in my entire skate where it ever snows (and even then that doesn’t even happen every year) it’s pretty much good skating weather all year round.
The cops are pretty friendly, too.
When it gets a bit later I might go down to my local primary school and practice ollie to manuals…
