I’ve seen so many dumb debates arguments because no one fucking understands what the First Amendment protects. It happens quite often on SRK too. A lot of the time on the internet I see people say some dumb ass shit that gets them into trouble, and then they proceed to say their freedom of speech is under attack when there are consequences for their actions. Too often has “freedom of speech” been used as someone trying to justify why they can say dumb ass shit and have NO CONSEQUENCES WHATSOEVER. People that love to champion free speech probably haven’t even read the First Amendment.

i agree with TS on the lack of usefulness of youtube videos. the reason why i never clicked on many of those alt-right videos constantly posted in the political threads is because i don’t need to watch a 15 min video from some random dude on youtube. i can get ill-informed, opinionated information on a topic from a dubious source from any random person on the street and in far, far less time than a 15 minute video.
nonetheless, i gave you benefit of the doubt and watched the video and i hope that video was an example of a “fuck you”. OTOH, if it was meant to be an example of the side that “tries to gather information from info given from different sources to come up with a more refined conclusion”. it took less than two minutes (the 1:46 mark to be exact) for it to fail in it’s purpose when the author started with a faulty premise which was inaccurate and fairly ignorant with even the most basic of historical facts and it went downhill from there.
i thought it was most magnificent, presidential shit show of a presser that i’ve ever seen. i thought he couldn’t shit the bed any harder than he has been, but he proved me wrong. all of his character flaws were on full display from his ignorance, bravado, egg-shelled ego, megalomania, hubris, persecution complex, pettiness, his frequent tendency for prevarication, absolving himself of all blame or accountability, etc. the cheap shots at mccain and the ceos who are leaving his presidential council was a nice touch along with the false equivalencies. lol…it was like watching him celebrate festivus except the only part he celebrated was the airing of grievances. so much for gen. kelly controlling trump. trump just blew up his handlers attempt at damage control to subatomic particles.

I would have went in even harder than Paris/parras did. That other hoe ass nigga trying to sit there and call out blackness as if “blackness” is based around stupidity and should be the standard bearer of what black folk should hold themselves up to. I was educated partially in inner city schools but mostly in white schools. I didn’t learn shit in the inner city, it wasn’t till I started going to the white schools that I actually got an education worth a damn. The inner city schools I went to had textbooks full of graffiti and missing and torn pages plus the books were sometimes 20+ years old. When I went to high school though all my books were brand new. I loved those books.
As a right leaning Blackman I believe it is in the black persons best interest to prop themselves up. Affirmative action and welfare both get in the way of that. Welfare is enabling laziness, affirmative action promotes entitlements to those who are sometimes undeserving.
Me personally I want better schools in black neighborhoods and more policing for those schools so that those that go to learn can actually do so without the threat of bullying and/or gangbangers making the effort to learn that much more difficult.
Rather than affirmative action and welfare I would support more money going to inner city schools as well as a bureaucracy to be established to make sure that the money is being spent in intelligent ways that benefit the school system and its students. I want higher and better math and English classes, better history classes so that we are educated against making the mistakes of the past in the future. I want identity politics taken out of the curriculum and a very simple message of acceptance and toleration to be instituted on its behalf.
But back on topic… this thread is gold. Nothing better than seeing SJW twats fail hard, and look stupid while doing it.
