Good stuff

How the fuck did N-Ken make it that far? A bye and a DQ?

I’ll give you a tip, mash standing jab!

Who stole my Triumvir bag with my white AE hoodie in it? SEND ME A PM AND SEND ME MY HOODIE BACK, YOU CAN KEEP THE DAMN BAG

Okay so this was my first ever fighting game event and I loved every second of it. So I make it to the Marriot and it looks like I’m in the wrong place until I look into the distance and spot a guy with a HRAP2 cutting a corner. I speed walk to catch up to him and as I hit the corner I see Justin Wong. I give him a “Hey, man!” and shake his hand out of respect. I continue into the first room which had 3s, TVC, and SFIV. Everyone was so chill. A bunch of guys had egos when it came to the game but once the battles were over everyone sort of de-activated into down to earth mode again.

My friend who plays Tekken came along only to be disappointed that he couldn’t find it to play. He also brought his girlfriend along who looked bored out of her mind along with a good chunk of other girls. I played more CVS2 thank anything and saw more Hori sticks than anything too. I sat down and tried to watch ALL the tournaments that I could. I didn’t even get to play SFIV but that doesn’t even bother me. I wanted to spend the first day absorbing the whole feel of the environment and the competitive aura for my first night. Had I known I wouldn’t be able to return for the second day, would have played more.

I read somewhere that said after visiting your first major competitive event, you will be able to decide whether or not this if for you and if you want to continue to pursue this type of gaming lifestyle. I can easily and honestly say “yes”. Team Kapital are like the saviors of the east coast. If only our shit was as organized as the peeps from cali. I say we should seriously start doing some house visits guys. Maybe you guys are but I’m not in on it. Street Fighter IV, Blue Blaze, King of Fighters XII, Tekken 6:Bounce Removed. All these games are right around the corner from me and I’m ready to take the next step.

I realized than I’ve been more of a fighting game enthusiast than a competative player. I know of everything but don’t play enough to perfect the things I know. Know the terminology, the moves, the story behind characters and more but I just don’t play with people outside my comfort zone to be able to step into the REAL fighting game scene.

Lag or input delay wasn’t saving my ass at Sinsation, and I was loving every second of it.

Edit: I should have put this in the Shoutout thread. DOH!

Havoc is probably angry about STREET FIYTAH FO!

WTF Deviljin, why didnt you win 3S?

Cuz um…hold on lemme think of a good excuse um…

STREET FIYTAH FO!

Cool, I got 9th place and I wasn’t even there for winners bracket top 16. Ah wish I could’ve stayed, but it’s all good. Winter Brawl is next and I’ll be there for that one, including dr chaos.

awww, i did that well against 9th?

back to the drawing board

nothing against miyagishin but he got the freeest bracket known to man, had there been better seeding, he wouldn’t be there, but that’s the nature of random, to be fair, there wouldn’t have been a lot more people i would put up there (but i think skisonic deserved top 13 for reppin fuerte).

ny will try to keep running the game, hope to see cali at evo!

Combofiend used Sim in singles when his Balrog lost to Justin’s Rufus. Also you have listed that Marn is from NY. Marn is actually from Texas. He just comes to NY a lot so people think he’s NY

Good shit to Miyagi and COMMON SENSE, I wish my dudley was that good.
