why do you guys make it a point to rush down nonstop no matter what’s going on?
those were like the fastest agroove matches i’ve ever seen that would go down to the last chars.
tell one of the top guys over there to be a little more patient and he’ll be unstoppable.

The vids are under the download section under KOFXI. Right click the link and save. I tested the links they are ok.
KabukiMono: I think the damage settings should be correct…or at most 1 star above the norm. Some players start with R2 characters so they will do more damage (chipped to death by cheap electricity).
iKlEiTlH: Ya i guess mind games are still pretty much missing here…people are just spamming random RCs (electricity etc) here and there like blanka’s since its so good against everyone there. In terms of gameplay wise we dun really have a CVS2 legend like Daigo there…but duplicates of A-Are we do have quite a few
I wonder when can we have a really good other-groove (besides A) player there to make a revolution.
block high, walk a few pixels, c.HK… from gunter’s a-groove vid… i think RC fierce rekka will hit once as well… level one is the easiest and most damage but in A it’s sketchy… you wanna be able to guardcrush blanka
To confirm, the damage is set at 3 here in SG. (which factored into the crazy C-Sagat full team comeback) To be honest, I only really noticed it after looking through the videos. Will be asking the management to reduce it to 2. Speed is set at 4.
I’m the guy who got #2, and i gotta say the quality of play in the videos wasn’t really good. After all it was our first CvS2 tournament in awhile so most of us who were retired all came back just to participate and everyone was pretty rusty. The tournament really revived the scene and motivated us to play again, so hopefully we’ll produce better videos in future tourneys.
Laugh: I used to be able to do it…didn’t really trust my buffer execution anymore so i decided to just leave the meter for bison. I have no idea why i even decided to pick iori vs. blanka in the first place anyway. As for punishing blanka balls with late block and walk forward sweep, that shit is pretty tough.
You got #2, so u are Ah Chai. I am Alex New, KL.
I heard Dec will have another competition, right?
I may join in too. Next time u won’t take me down so easily.
I am just realise SG is speed 4 (KL machine in speed 3), that’s why make me confusing…
I may go SG on 5th Nov, the Macau guy will go too. Hope we can meet! :wgrin:
Newplayer/Alex: I’m just a casual CVS2 player in Bugis :nunchuck:
There’s CVS2 machines in KL? Cool. Last time I went Genting but was disappointed as there’s no CVS2 there :crybaby: So where’s the hottest spot in KL? Maybe I will drop by there for some action if I’m there next time
Hey CVS2 players from Singapore…I´m happy to see some matchmovies from you because I heard a lot of your scene from Mike (a guy who lived in singapore and is now living in Germany…perhaps some players know him) and from the players in Hong Kong who told me a lot about the Anthony´s skills.
Perhaps I will make it to Singapore one time and enjoy this wonderful place and the skills of the players there. :lovin:
I will post a link of the matchmovies into the a german forum. :wgrin:
btw I did not understand who won the tournament…in the 1st match player 1 won and in the 2nd player 2…so who won the tournament now?
huh?? there is few k-groove matches. subscribe the user and u can see more.
I not sure how many times the Sg & macau players play against each others.
i am not one of them…
Don’t u go to macau last time u went to HK?
I may go to SG on 02.12.06 & 06.01.07 (Saturday), welcome to join! :wgrin:
Singapore have a lots of good players, a nice place to train and improve your skill.
I only went there 2 times, but, my cvs2 skill had improved a lot!! :wgrin:
