Yoga tower is useful against all her low attacks
the only thing to worry about is her shoryuken move (Dont jump alot)
Useful provided that she has no meter. I wouldn’t chance focusing when she has meter, as her EX dive kick will smash your focus and then you get to enjoy watching your opponent perform a 17 second combo while you weep in a corner.
Yoga tower is fantastic in this matchup, avoids low attacks like you stated, as well as her hooligan throw, cannon drill, and knuckle spin. Tower, tower, tower.
Ya, I’m pretty sure ex strike doesn’t have armor break but it’s risky nonetheless. If she TK’s it she’ll probably have time to dp you no matter what.
After watching you and Snafoo lose to Eric Hai using Cammy at TFNS, this resonates as truth. Its not about if Cammy gets in, more like when she gets in, if the player is decent enough, you’re screwed.

Yo shout outs to cammy who can random full screen spiral arrow and blow throw all your limbs and put you in the corner in under 20 secs. Also shout out to cammy’s throw tech frame traps that make risk reward for sim a dirty four letter word.

Damn, it probably won’t help anyone, since we are already at a week from getting AE (and ICS being removed), but i discovered a nice way of at least diminish a little of the pressure due ICS/throw mixups.
Usually crouch tech will fail and u’ll get hit by ICS and eat a damaging combo.
What I discovered is that you can option-select a tech throw with focus.
Basically you defend her blockstring and press and hold the 4 buttons at the same time (LP, LK, MP, MK). If she throws you, you’ll tech. If she ICS, you hold the focus a bit and you’ll always crumple her, even with a lvl1 focus.
If she pokes you, you’re are fucked, but hey, you have one more option now if she’s abusing the ICS.
Has anyone tested the lp, lk, mp, mk during Cammy block string / counter hit / throw set ups?
I play against a really strong Cammy so I’ll hopefully have some more games with him this week.
I’ve already got some anti Cammy strats but need to have some more games and test out some more setups. After Cammy gets a knock down she has so many option selects she can do on your wake up! Learning to block and not to teleport after you get knocked down is something you should do

Also how are you guys fairing in this matchup for AE?
I haven’t played many cammy players in AE, but it really helps now that she doesn’t have the regular ICS any more. She still has some frametraps though, and her walkspeed seem to cover her throwrange pretty well, but gives you some time to react (compared to long throw range)
As for the trick that is mentioned (focus and throw at the same time), it is a trick I see a lot of japanese players are using, especially as a wakeup option with a backdash, but I haven’t gotten the opportunity to test it out.
