What kind of synergy does Shuma Strange have? Can Shuma combo to Strange’s faltine loop?
Also, does Shuma have any safe supers? I’m probably going to use Spencer Doom Strange, but if Shuma works that well with Strange and has a safe dhc, I’d take Doom out for him.
so HMS is safe on block, but depending on where opponent is and who they are sometimes they can get out of its range before balls reach.
Mystic stare hard tag combos go right into faltine loops when the eyes explode.

So what assists are people finding to be the best for Shuma to get in with? Doom is great of course, but is Missiles better to try to get in with or is beam? Or how about Strange? Doom is a better all around character but Bolts with any character that has a command throw I think must be considered. Any other suggestions?
Cold star,repulser blast,reverb shock,Akuma/Ryu tatsu,Drones and spit fire twice.

shuma dorm doom sounds good to me…angelic plays all 3 characters (not on the same team) so he would know best, but I figure stick shuma on point where he’s naturally best, then you have dark hole assist for lockdown mixups and missiles or beam for movement/getting in
The best order would definitely be Shuma/Dorm/Doom for that team, but if you find you’re losing alot because your point shuma gets wrecked switch to Dorm/Doom/Shuma

You don’t need to wait for missiles when you have teleport + mystic ray. Also DHC’ing hyper smash into dorm’s flame ball leaves a ton of shit on the screen to start teleporting around with
So I’ve been thinking about using this team, what’s your opinion on it?

advice would be to find another team. seriously that’s troll-level bad.
what makes you say that? they’ve all got pretty good synergy together, shumas ray and akuma tatsu can both help haggar get in, akuma can help shuma lock down, shuma and haggar have good combos together, and akumas a pretty good anchor by himself.
I think its pretty obvious that shuma would be your number 2. Dante can DHC into HMS easily. Also virgil is a better anchor and you can easily use meter to swap in Virgil. Though you would do better to not play shuma, just being honest.
I’m half-assedly trying to learn dante because jam session seems like a pretty decent assist for shuma since shuma needs a lockdown assist and jam session also hit a portion of the screen that shuma has trouble with. Dante also has hard tag combos with shuma, and hyper mystic smash/devil trigger shenanigans. Vergil is also good with shuma for similar reasons, although does not give shuma as good of an assist (rapid slash is okay in some circumstances because it pushes the opponent towards the corner which is where shuma wants them). I do not believe a shuma/dante/vergil team would be good in any order, but I believe there are several good teams that incorporate either shuma and vergil or shuma and dante.
How does Strange DHC to Shuma
not very well…but ideally strange should be behind shuma since bolts are so good for shuma. now if you could only hard tag into FoF outside of the corner…
Opinions on Shuma / Morrigan / Dante and Shuma / Morrigan / Doom ?
Which would be the better overall team (not just the better team for shuma)?
I don’t think a point shuma team can have morrigan because it’s a wasted assist slot that he really needs. Shuma/doom(beam)/dante(jam) would be sweet though. or missiles/weasel shot
