SH3 is my favorite. Playing it my first time with hard difficulty is easily one of the more memorable times I’ve had gaming. Anyone who isn’t immune to nostalgia will tell you SH1 is the best, but I think it came one generation too soon. PS2 graphics improved the overall atmosphere of later SH games by leaps and bounds. SH2 would be my favorite if not for two things. The game is a cakewalk. I felt it needed to be more difficult. In every other SH, you can aim to get a particular ending. Good luck with that in SH2, where everything effects the ending to the point where it is almost out of your control.
Conservative with healing items? Uhp, looks like you got the In Water ending. Did you forget about your wedding anniversary? You just unlocked the In Water ending! Walk around too much? Hope you like water. Did you fart while Maria was walking behind you? In Water.
Have to run this through here, SRK SH heads bear with me while I’m laying out details;
A good friend of mine(another SRKer who no longer posts here)until recently roomed with a dude that played in his band. The dude left the band and moved out to Cali for a job in programming or somesuch. Over the holidays dude calls my friend to say hey and catch up and stuff, when the guy tells my friend he landed a job on the development team for an upcoming American game, which happens to be SH5.
Point being, the team would love to have some input from people that love the series, which I’ll pass along through my friend. So if you’d like to help out, just throw out some of the things you like/dislike about the games in general, stuff that HAS to be done right, etc. I’d like to help maybe make this our game, if only in the tiniest possible way.
I have it but I havent played it yet. I am waiting until I get a good set of headphones so I can fully immerse myself in the game. I’m going to play it in a completely dark room with headphones turned on to max volume.
I got it. Nothing special about it really. The biggest complaint I have about it is IT’S NOT SCARY AT ALL. Couldn’t believe that. Aside from that, the gameplay is bare bones and doesn’t bring anything new to the table. A 6 out of 10 IMO. Worth playing, but not necessarily owning.
ppl are hating on Pyramid Head becoz they say like “that’s James’ monster! It doesnt work if someone else can see it! Stop trying to fit in all that shyt into the game… it’s wrong!!”
anyway, regardless of the hate I’m hella hype for Homecoming… cant wait til wednesday!!
