LMAO the first thing I see on SRK is the epic levels of salt coming from the Sentinel forums.
Sentinel has good flight speed, cr. M, a 3 hit armor move, and he does 700K in one combo. Stop bitching Sent players. Yall niggas are looking like scrubs.
I noticed people saying: “Don’t get hit”, “Stop being a scrub”, “Sentinel is god. keep being a salty fucker”. but now I seeing “RAGE!!!”, “SENTINEL SUCKS WHY DID HE GET NERFED”, and “OMG SALTSALTSALTSALTSALT”.
Hear this players, SENTINEL IS STILL A GOOD CHARACTER. He has the armor moves like the hulk, fast flight mode like Iron man, fucking instant hyper like all of the level 3’s, and zoning to match peeps like Magneto and Storm.
Granted, I think his damage is a little bit too low. I think he should have 100K. But he is still amazing and has amazing priority.

gotta admit sent’s a much larger target. Can’t do instant overhead combos on wolverine or dante, at least with chars that aren’t super mobile.
Problem: sent is a large target
Solution: jump and block during mixup situations. Gets rid of high/low guessing.

My team was original Sentinel, Ammy and Phoenix but with Sentinel health patch I’m probably going to drop Phoenix. Any other characters I should try with Sent/Ammy ? Thank you!
I think it depends on what you want to do? Beam assists make sent’s zoning so good. I use doom plasma beam, only thing is Doom is a difficult character to use right.
You can get a low assist to set up unblockables, you can get an invincible assist (tron, haggar, zero power up, hsien ko power up) to help with pressure and getting pressured.

@Daylightful: Depends on what you plan on doing with sent/ammy because a lot of assists work well with those 2 since they are so versatile. Gustaf flame, lariat, jam session, any low hitting assist, hidden missles, can all be very useful for this team.
I made this thread exactly for that reason, I am just salty because IMO and many other player opinions, it was the wrong nerf.

Don’t people complain about his damage output? I’ve yet to hear anyone say “This faaaacking robot has too much HP!!” A gigantic hitbox with average HP sounds wrong to me…

The biggest difference I have noticed is now once you get him in a High damaging Combo the person on the other side of the net generally begins to play more hesitantly. Now I can pretty much drop him with my Thor BnB… He can still kill you instantly so I dont get the complaint about the nerf they just made it so you dont need to hit him with 3 big combos sometimes 4 to kill him .

But anyways, you are right. I had assumed the damage scaling system from ssf4 had carried over but apparently not. I did chun li’s headstomp 13 times and then added a :d:+:h: which does 60K, doing a total a 905K damage and sent didnt die.
A friend of mine did a 908K damage combo on sent and he lived. He then did a combo that did 909,300 damage and sent died. So i guess the exact number for sent’s health is still up for debate.
EDIT: According to desk’s video about the patch changes, it’s 909K. Sounds correct.
Also, could you please post these two combos on phoenix you just spoke of? id like to try them out myself.
