F*** sentinel i hate you all
Oh, and he has a pretty cool assist.
at first i thought the air raid assist was pretty cool
but after awhile
it became clear to me that the assist fails hard…
the drones can only go so far before dropping the bombs and then they fly off the screen
if the opponent isn’t within that range then the bombs don’t affect them
the sentinel force charge assist on the other hand will get the opponent most of the time and won’t require them to come to you

I’m interested in how “broken” he really is, not how easy he is to win with. Combo and general strategy thread please :sad:
Sentinel may be broken but would be less broken if everyone would stop doing the same dumb things they tell themselves don’t work.
Alright, I’m gonna start compiling some practical combos. If anyone wants to start a thread, please go ahead. I know if I do, I will get lazy and stop updating.

You have all the time in the world to cancel s.H into command grab all the way up to the first frame he releases the laser. lol The range he gets is ridiculous with this kara throw. I showed my friend online and he’s like “WTF!”
I haven’t received any hate mail for using Sent and I still get GG’s just from random scrubs.
Alright so I came on here for advice on Sent since I actually wanna learn him and be like the other kids that mash and all there is is hate. jeez
I just wanna say it’s truly hilarious and intriguing seeing alot of you former Gat haters in Vanilla SF4 playin Sent. If only because of a few things.

Sentinel, This is a problem
My team consists of Dante, Dormammu, and Storm. Even with Teleports and trying to use Storm’s Assist, I still could not manage to really get around Sentinel’s flying away with his attack that ground bounces you; Dante’s Jam Session assist to follow it up, and all of that. Run away Sentinel is simply crazy, and when he gets on X-Factor, we really do have a problem. HE’s not nearly slow enough to warrant such power, especially for being a damn tank in the HP section.
Sentinel is TOO free , against Amaterasu…I love it when people pick 50sent with the highest health and highest hp doesn’t even touch ammy with the lowest(aspect phoenix) hahaha, shit is madd funny…this game is the new crack !

im just throwing out ideas here since i’ve only had it since friday. But cant you just fly or super jump away with storm, or call in your x-factor when sentinel uses his? and for that air bounce move, I have nothing for you there cuz its an overhead attack unless you back up a little bit to make it a high attack and block it. Sorry buddy.
I don’t know… winning half your games because of XFactor OCV with Sentinel is just cheese. What are you gonna call it, legit? He gets double damage. We’ll all learn to deal with it, of course… but you gotta understand why it’s frustrating for some people.
Just use Dark Holes with Dormammu if all he does is fly back into the corner.
The problem with this thread is that you just arent equipped to deal with Sentinel, not your characters.
You play Dante, Dorm Storm. I mean really dude. You HAVE to get better before you cry about getting roasted by Sent. Pure ridiculousness.
