Looks like sent and chris will pair up well, i think the bombs will help chris’s keepaway really well and depending on how well they cover the skies chris might not even need another AA assist.

Oh I hadn’t thought of that, my bad. You bring up a valid point how they can still be useful, I can see how crossups could be very difficult to block with Sentinel Force.

Sentinel stays out for a LONG TIME. More so than his previous entry in Marvel. His Air Raid is a bit wacky. It hits full-screen if you are at the edge of the screen but if you are mid-range it sorta whiffs.

I think I will be using air raid more though, the drones come out a bit faster to drop their payload and Sentinel leaves a bit sooner.

drones no longer combo by themselves, and air raid has limited screen coverage. rocket punch seems the best

Rocket Punch might be better if he’s supporting a rushdown character. But if you’re using zoning as your main strategy then I think bombs would be the way to go.

Sentinel force bomb is his best assist by far comes out slow but completely shuts down the whole screen once its it

Have you figured out if you can Call Dante Corridor during his Fast Fly Air Combos at all? Any Sentinel Light you could shed would be legit!

I would absolutely adore you if you were to post some gameplay videos of the assist in action. The practice mode really doesn’t adequately demonstrate how versatile the move is. What happens when the bombs touch a projectile, for example? If Sentinel gets hit during the assist animation, what happens to the drones? Can projectiles (especially beams) kill the drones before they drop their load?

The drone assist… because it has that lag time before the second drone hits, I’m wondering if it’s enough hit or block stun to prevent a jump out. If it can lockdown in blockstun at least that long, I’m thinking you could do something like Dante’s or Wesker’s teleport into an overhead and/or crossup for the fun times.

I’m looking for which assist he has that would lead to that kind of situation.

Sentinel OCV in the first game. not the highest level of play, but a great display of Sentinel none the less

How come Wesker’s hyper counter didn’t work there?

^Doesnt counter Projectiles.

Wesker’s Rhino Charge only seems to counter physical moves. Sentinel’s Plasma Storm looks like a pseudo- beam, I guess more like a “field”, kinda like Chun Li’s Kikosho.

Huh. How unfortunate. Doesn’t Taskmaster’s hyper counter projectiles the same as physical, or did I imagine that? I know SOMEBODY has a projectile counter.

wesker’s normal counter move got a projectile counter with a wallbounce.

This is correct but Im almost positive his projectile counter does NOT counter projectile Supers.
