Mega man… done Smash Bro style… this was a no-brainer once I saw Smash on N64, just add the option to a retro platformer release of MM1-MM6. beat the boss to unlock the character, later, cross over with it’s various MM brands and X-series.
Thundercats… done Soul Caliber style… or just give me Lion-O, Panthro, and MumRah as console exclusives in SCVI that are unlocked across the consoles later. Could crossover with Silver Hawks or He-man maybe.
Yugioh… seriously go Jo-Jo with each character’s top 3-5 Summon cards, and add character specific Trap & Magic cards moves. I don’t even play the card game but was hyped about a fighting game after seeing the 1st season way back when.
YuYu Hakusho… as some have already stated, old anime fighters don’t quite do there series justice. This is no exception. it needs a cross over game with Bleach.

I want a proper Ranma 1/2 fighter. The 3rd game (Chougi Ranbu Hen) for the Super Famicom is a good place start since it dumped the jump button from the first 2 games and actually had a decent combo system.
Fuck that! Thundercats needs to be on the old school MAHVELL engine. I can already imagine, Mumm-Ra spamming dat pink spit and doing fly-unfly combos. And Cheetara with dive kicks and that speed up super for that Wolverine brokenness.
Only if Treasure does it and runs it on the same engine as YYH Makyoutouhissen/Guardian Heroes/Bleach DS.

I have always wanted a Berserk fighting game as well, Soul Calibur style, but with blood. I was hoping for one with the new anime movies coming out. I guess not. They are making 2 more though, so maybe somebody will jump on that boat.

I was thinking just a Franchise fighter like capcom fighting jam. And for system I was thinking of an mvc1/tvc style game. 2v2 with striker characters or something.
Yun baba would be top tier in that game. Air dashing, three jumps, giant baby assist.
The only reason i figured a smash oriented combat is because it wouldn’t sell as much to hardcore ppl (i think), though a more serious fighter would definitely be up my alley.
Surprised no one mentioned the Last Airbender. That is a series totally deserving of a real fighting game, not the stupid kids shit that’s available now.
After watching Big Trouble in Little China tonight I think it would be a great fighter. Jack Burton may or may not be Dan-tier, he would have his unblockable knife throw attack and has the option of KO’ing himself by shooting the ceiling and getting hit with hunks of plaster.
It’s more suitable for an Action-adventure or an RPG than a fighter.
