I’m not up to speed on all this stuff, but I believe it’s Alex Navarro, and not all of Miami that owns in CvS2, and mixup also is better than what he placed at the tournament even with all that he accomplished.

Who plays cvs in Miami? The best cvs player I’ve seen in the atl south besides myself is Trent, are there people there that are better than him?
I’m really looking forward to Alex Navarro coming back, it should be fun playing him at the next tourney since I know he is extremely good. However he is the only Miami person I’ve ever heard of. If there is a big scene there I’d like to know about it, I might go down there one day.

Regardless, we had an Alex Navarro at the AZ SF Championships in november. I know he was from out of state but I dont know if its the same one you guys are talking about cause if it is, then he really isn’t all that good considering he won 1 match or none, I dont remember O_o.

I’ve been playing quite a bit lately at our arcade here, but theres definitely some good players here in miami, I would really suggest to all CvS2 players anywhere to come and play over here.
Musker, I don’t what you’re talking about. Alex Navarro is a really good player, he won the last time we played in a tournament, but I’m curious to see the results when we play again. Just because he lost or didn’t win any matches doesn’t mean anything. Everyone has bad days.
Not everyone has time to download 16hrs of footage and not everyone has broadband. We’re not trying to make a quick buck, just spread some good games. If you think we’re trying to make a buck, we lost about 100 bucks running this tourney, and still we didn’t mind cause people had a good time.

Sad thing is that there’s a decent amount of people here in Florida who will play 3S and enjoy it CASUALLY, but when it comes time to put up money for an entry fee and play seriously alot of people back out.

thnx man. 3S was featured but that was only after Flash said he might come, so it was almost a last minute thing. 3S should have a much better showing in March.

Oh yea, i’m tired of people saying that this tournament wasn’t really a tournament since Mike or ozzie or trent didn’t win. That’s why you play the game in tournaments. To find out who’s the best. Not to just dick ride top players. We all know that Mike, ozzie, and trent are great players, but please don’t make it seem like Isaac and colin didn’t earn it. Everyone wants to root for their hommies and I understand that. Just don’t underplay them winning because just like Brandon “demonhyo” said ; Everyone had their own stick or controller, so they shouldn’t have “ANY” excuse. It’s better for the southern scene in the long run. Having rivals is good as long as it’s a friendly one. We don’t need any flamefest started up again. The big thing we should be worried about is in MvC2 NYC came down and got 2 of the top 4 places in the tournament. We (meaning southern players) have to do a better job at defending our home turf. Great job to everyone that showed up to the tournament. Atleast you competed and that’s more than I can say. Thanks for supporting your local and not so local southern tournaments scene. I know blazinflo is working hard to bring people together.
