This tourney was so gay all the top players lost in thier first match ups. My Sentinel sucked serious balls in this tourney for some reason i cant use him at all. But my magneto has gotten pretty fast so ive been told but im garbage ill see what happens from now because im not too good my massticks are breaking down im just gonna quit.
And if Erik (Lord Doom) had come to Charlotte, who knows…

Let me clear up something about 3rd Strike.
There was a total of 6 people that entered (There was originall 10 but some people changed their mind at the last minute.). So no real big victory on my behalf, when it came to getting 2nd. 
With that said here’s the results:

I’m convinced that the only reason why I got 2nd is because Colin played me thinking it was casual, when I beat him 3rd time round he mentioned this. I gave him the option to play me again best 2 out 3 but he decided not to. But let it be known he beat on me pretty bad after the tourney.
June flat out OWNS me. Hands down. First match I played he beat me 2-1 (I eeked out a win against his Urien). After that he switched to Ken and I was finished.
To those of you who came from out of town, I apologize for the lack of competition.
Thanks goes out to June, Colin, Don, Rick, Van and the guys from Tally for playing casual matches with me before and after the tourney. I had a great time.
Hopefully next time I play you guys I’ll have improved my game and will serve as a better opponent.

I have to say that Colin is sick, rawskillz has a sick ass Kyo, and I hit Colin with Haohmaru’s Level 3 I take all day to hit you with a bigger verison of stand fierce super. 
… casual play of course. And June’s Kim combo was pimp looking.
And I hate Geese’s standing fierce. For some reason, Cammy’s jawbone likes to dash into it.
We recorded 95% of the marvel matches and have over 80hrs of footage that we recorded. But we didn’t get any CvS2 and not enough interviews or live coverage. Can anyone lend us some footage that they took, those that do get a dvd at cost. I know Xander, Nathan, and someothers took footage there. Send me a pm to make arrangements, or I’ll just hassle you.
Had a great time. It was fun playing everybody. Trent was good and in all the place was nice, could have been bigger but beggars can’t be choosers. Hopefully MORE PEOPLE will come out to enjoy playing with the top players of the ATL south next time. I’ll be there to defend the title on cvs and to scrub out on marvel again with Omega Red :). Everyone was cool, so shout outs to everyone I met. Hit me up on AIM or something if anything else comes up.

CvS2 title??? Hmmm, I don’t know about that. I know flippers is having a team tourney in a couple of weeks, but I’m sure we will be having a standard singles tournament coming up soon when Alex N. returns, so when I find out I will start a thread and see how many of you will show up.

BTW I fully expected Isaac to win marvel and I expected to win cvs, therefore there weren’t that many huge upsets IMO :). Florida peeps need to get your practice on and build up interest in the games, you guys can’t allow both of the top players in the two main games to be from fuckin ALABAMA. Come on all we have up here are cornfields and inbred pig farmers :). As of now though Alabama owns the south.

I definitely wouldn’t say you guys own the ATL south, I really hope you guys consider coming down to a tourney down here, if we ever have one for god sake :lol:, I know Miami owns the ATL south in CvS2 and would do really well in MvC2 I know Ozzy is better than what he placed at this tournament, and we have other players that are good for that game as well but are unknowns.
It’s whack when a tournament doesn’t go the way people expect so they post stuff like, well this tournament was gay… no one played for real… the results were stupid. People played on their own sticks at this one so have some respect.
Javier, nice job man. This other guy isaac, i am interested to play you in a tourney someday. You seem to be a top player, and i guess the top player in the A south now.
