My very very close second was the SF4: Alex Valle (Ryu) vs SabrE (Sakura) [at Evo2k9 7-17-09]
I main Sakura and I knew that Sabre was great at playing Sak, but that was just one ass-whoopin’ that he gave Alex Valle.

I went with VDO/Potter. Early in that match at 2:35 also just shows how amazingly smart and patient VDO is. And look at the life lead at 7:30 or so in that match. :wow:
I don’t know enough about Valle, but it mostly seemed he just had never seen a great Sakura before(?). I think Potter has seen VDO before.

A lot of the videos were pretty boring outside of their extraordinary 5 second moments, tbh. Is this Match of the Year or Moment of the Year? :wonder:

How the hell he even manages to get in with his team atounds me. All of his team get raped by storm, yet he somehow manages to eat the chip, dodge and weave and then somehow actually land attacks.

VDO’s fight was epic. He beat what I call Team Runaway with low tiers. I’ll say it again…LOW TIERS. this gives me hope because I love using low tiers

Wow. Alex Valle. The name is synonymous with Street Fighter and fighting games in general. I knew it was going to be a good one. I did NOT know it would be with him taking a loss. =o. Sakura came out and well…she was a BEAST. Got my vote.

What’s funny about Valle Vs Sabre is they have played each other before, so that kinda debunks this whole he never played Sak before. Shit happens and people get confused.
