there will be a Persona 5 live stream june 15. even though its being done by Nico Nico the fact it’s being done for E3 leads me to believe it will be translated or in english.
there is also some new info out.
personally im going to try and avoid too much info about the game. I just want to learn about the 4th guy then im done reading anymore into it. ill still watch the trailers though.
Im getting close to media cut off myself. One of the things that made me like Persona 4 so much was how very little i knew about it (and Persona in general) when I went into it.
i like this new form of "negotiating"in Persona 5, seems a lot more to the point and its very true with how negations actually felt in the SMT games. if you were negotiating it wasn’t going to be against a threat shit would break down then you would die, no you would kill everything around them then basically tell them “join me or die” and nothing says that quite like surrounding your enemies with your guns drawn. i really hope a lot of enemies are weak to pierce because i really want to use those guns more than their main weapons.
Anyone in here pick up Tokyo Mirage Sessions? I got it…already at 20 hrs logged. Game is fun as hell. Best way to describe it is Persona-lite in the literal sense. Battle system is real similar and while there isnt any social links, you have character side quests which almost function the same way.
Also instead of demon fusing you make weapons which have the same function, equip it and learn skills from it as you use it
The Fire Emblem elements are real light outside the weapon triangle, the Mirages and like 1 spell(so far) its really a SMT(Persona) game with FE cameos.
So basically if you like Persona, you should like this unless the idol stuff is a deal breaker. Cant speak for in comparison of other SMTs because this game is basically Persona which is diff than Nocturne, Digital Devil Saga and etc
Which is why I said Persona-lite. And I mentioned the character specific sidequests almost function link like social links because doing theme gives insight on the character and unlock new skills just like in Persona when you raise social links.
Even if those quests werent in and no human mind theme GAMEPLAY structure wise its hardly different. Domt be nitpicky lol
Wouldnt say its better, worse or equal but that its just fun. Its more straightforward since as I mentioned there no social link system and theres no calendar time management. So its really dungeon hopping. To see if its better or not is somethin you gotta decide because from my p3&p4 discussions people get real uptight about specifics, so yall just gotta see.
