Messiah is his Cannon ultimate persona (it takes elements from Orpheus and Thanatos and it’s usually the one hes represented by) dunno about cannon for that fight. Personally, I just want the story to continue with a little less P4 elements. Maybe i’m just a hatin ass nigga, but I can’t stand teddy outside of P4.
Btw I think the recommendation comed from the fact that if you check Nyxs level its between 75-80 might be 77.
Time for info dump. More background info on the three new characters.
]Makoto Niijima [CV: Rina Sato
Spoiler
Her Persona ability awakens due to a certain trouble.
Her Persona, Johanna, is the one that looks like a bike, and it doesn’t look like it’ll have any kind of transformation.
According to director and creative producer Katsura Hashino, while Persona 5 is both a story about Phantom Thieves and also a school setting, the first case will take place at the Shujin High School, and this is where Makoto will set her eyes on the protagonist.
A certain incident has caused the prodigy programmer to be a shut-in, and she has not attended school ever since graduating middle school.
She acts normal when she’s around the protagonist, but when she’s around multiple people we might see her wearing a strange headgear to cover up her face and head.
In Hashino’s comment he says that he can’t go into too much detail, but the way Futaba and the protagonist meet is a little different and their circumstance is also special. She’s a character that will play a major role in the story.
Her Persona Necronomicon symbolizes Futaba’s unknown powers.
She does not find value in human relations and has avoided connecting with others for this reason.
Haru is the daughter of a company president so it might seem like she lives in a different world, but once she gets closer to those around her, she’ll become more friendly.
The adults that are concerned with Haru have warped hearts on a huge scale, and you’ll meet Haru as a key character during a time when the story takes a big step.
Her Persona Milady is based off Milady de Winter from The Three Musketeers.
Very happy about this thread. I’ve played Nocturne, Digital Devil Saga 1&2, Strange Journey, SMT 4, Persona 3, Persona 4. I dont think I could tolerate the high encounter rate and dungeon crawling in older SMT games so instead I’ve resigned myself to watching playthroughs. I was very enthralled with the stories in SMT 1 and 2 but not sure about the older Persona games, eh.
Man I can’t stand Teddie in P4 either. I hate that character. He becomes even worse when he “gets a body.” But considering he’s the only character in the whole game I dislike I consider it a win since it’s unusual for me to like more then 3 or 4 people in a JRPG.
i actually liked him much more when he became human. he stopped being a commercial mascot that only made lame bear puns and turned into his own character that chased ladies and had amusing interactions with Yosuke.
King Moron was fucking hilarious, and an on point representation of some of the older staff at high schools. There was this old drunk dick bag teacher at my HS in Mass who was just like Mr Mooroka, even had the same jacked up teeth. I actually kind of liked being in his health class because he’d say the most unbridled and ridiculous shit about other students, was so fucking funny. Everyone hated him and talked shit about him to, so King Moron was a really fun character for me.
In all this talk about waifus we failed to ask the real question. Whos the best nigga? This I think is a much tougher to answer question then whos the best waifu.
Junpei is my nigga man. The answer actualky gavr him more character than he already had. But I beat the shit out of yosuke. Then again Yosuke was being a bitch for awhile so he had thosd hands coming.
Junpie. When you compare how he was at the beginning to how he is at the end of Ultimax he easily developed more than anyone.
This dude is selfish, weak, lazy, and apparently sexist by how he interacts with the female protagonist at the beginning. This is in comparison to everyone who else who doesn’t really improve they all stay pretty much the same throughout.
Junpie fucks up once and admits it and doesn’t do that again.
He befriends Chidori for selfish reasons and his bragging gets him in trouble however after everything goes down he still visits her.
When you’re doing your social link stuff with him as female MC he treats her more like a sister
When Strega [details=Spoiler]gets Chidori killed [/details] he becomes so pissed off that he knocks Jin on his ass with an Agi spell, Jin is IMMUNE to fire.
After all of this he didn’t get where he wanted which was to be a major league baseball player, but instead teaches baseball and even self defense to little kids and doesn’t complain about it once. Even when he gets mixed up in all that Arena mess he does so of his own accord and things that keep blocking him are LITERALLY unforeseeable.
Dude you gotta play the answer sometime. The difference between Junpei in there and in the answer if pretty noticable right away. He goes from an ass at the beginning of P3 to the voice of reason in the answer.
i was not aware the Samurai from before were going to be included so heavily and i honestly thought they would just be doing their own thing mostly. I love the idea that one of the ultimate god in a JRPG has an Irish accent, but why the hell doesn’t Dagda have a fucking club? i get not having the cauldron or two pigs but the club seems pretty basic for his portrayal.
