For anybody planning on going for the platinum - make sure you max out all social stats during your first playthrough. It will save you TONS of time on the second.
FYI you need NG+ to get the platinum.

ive been at the end of the game for… like a month or 2 now? I think… I just havnt had the will to beat the last boss. I dunno unless the ending is some amazing thing I just was not very horny about this game. Part of the problem is too I never went and fused the best personas so I kinda want to tell myself maybe ill play the game again so I should go through the trouble of fusing them all now for new game plus or whatever… but the other part of me just … doesnt care…
And on that note fuck having to social link up that stupid fuse personas. Like I don’t remember how you did it in 3 and 4. But I dont recall it being this unenjoyable. Is this how it worked in 3 and 4? Man I must be old and bitter if it is. I think im at level 3 or 4 with the twins, but how high do you have to go till it lets you fuse those best personas with them?
you have to max out the confidant/social link to fuse the best persona of each arcana. It has been this way as far as i can remember.
You always had to do social links to get the best fused Persona. In 3 and 4 that’s what they existed for. In P5 you get additional mechanics available to you for doing them.
Some of the best Personas aren’t even Arcana related. Sandalphon is kinda retarded with Angelic Grace equipped.
The Arcana personas can be insanely powerful. I used Beelzebub and Satan to wreck shit in the end game palaces and second playthough.
Anyone can wreck shit with how the game’s made. Check my Setanta, and he’s not even optimized for the skills. I’d give him Ali Dance over Enduring Soul.

If anything, Satan has less potential with the little level margin he gets to min max stats.
no you are confused as to what I meant. I have maxed every social link BUT the twins. I know i can fuse the best persona now, but the option to fuse is not there, since I have not done the full social link for them, and as you upgrade them, you gain the ability to fuse more personas at one time.

Finally finished P5 a few days ago game was amazing. Its my GOTY easily I really loved Horizon but P5 just has so much fun and style

Anyone been buying the DLC personas? I’m nearing the end of my second (and final for now) playthrough, so I’m going to pass. That being said, they look interesting and from some videos I’ve watched, may be worth it for things like super early Heat Riser cards and stuff like that.
