I didn’t die but the 7th palace boss was a 2 hour long boss fight for me. I guess I am under leveled and on hard though. Just saw that some people beat it on normal in like an hour. Maybe I should spend the 400k to fuse God’s Hand…
And once again, why waste money on that? just make the P5 anime and flesh out the main story. Mementos missions really aren’t that interesting.
I mean, Mementos is actually tied into the main plot apparently. Also how in the world could you possibly know that it’s be “a waste of money”?

Ok, I’m about 4 hours into P5 - does this thing ever come off rails? So far it’s cutscene after cutscene. Conversation after conversation.
Is this your first Persona? If so, it might take you a second to get used to all that. It does slowly come off the rails as you progress further.

I feel like my stats refuse to level. I been grinding the hell out of charm and guts and none want to level up to four.
The game has A LOT of dialogue, you’ll have to get used to it; but most of it is really good. You get big chunks of gameplay followed by big chunks of dialogue, rinse and repeat. Its also my first persona game and it does take getting used to.
How’ve you been doing it? Best ways to level charm are bathing on Monday, Thursday, or when raining, and doing the Ohya link. Those can all give 3 charm per visit, though if it’s raining the bath can either give you 3 charm or 1 guts so save before doing it. If it gives you guts, then go do something else because I don’t think save scumming will re-roll it.
I been doing Ohya and the baths for charm. I also been hanging out with Yusuke doing off days since his art stuff also increase charm. I been using books and movies for guts. I been using rainy days for grinding and studying. Never thought about going to the bath during them.
Just keep going then. Honestly I think Knowledge is the slowest gainer but it’s easy to grind it.
I wish I knew about the shogi player sooner. Her gameplay additions could have saved me so much time
Honestly every link is super good. The gamer and the weapon shop links are really great to get more out of your guns too

just got done with possibly the stupidest battle i had. my whole team had wiped, i had Shiki-oji so nothing they could do would hurt me but i was almost completely out of mana as well, also the enemy adds could sacrifice their health to heal him to full health, also he could just keep summoning the dam things. i somehow managed to win.
Gotta keep Invigorate on deck.

The way things are going, this may be my first and last Persona game. It’s great when you able to roam and decide how to spend your time, but those opportunities are few and far between right now. At the very least this can’t be the only game I play. I usually pick a game to finish and play that until I’m done - glad I ordered Nier and have some other things to switch things up.
yeah but they also hit like a tank and go first making it difficult to anything but survive the first few rounds until you can start thinning their numbers. they had a weakness to agi and guru, but Ann was out of mana, and Morgana was busy trying to heal everyone. i made the major mistake of using Morgana’s turn to revive Yusuke who couldn’t even help.
Anyhow thats done with and now i just want to see what this new ability i got from Shinya is. from the description it sounds like i have a chance to just gun the fuckers down during an ambush.
I’d recommend switching Yusuke for Ryuji or Haru. Some of those mobs are weak to Zio, and some of the head robots are weak to Psio.
