Ya got the right, full revenger meter and the orbs hit twice and each one did almost the same dmg as a soul spark. Hopefully in a month we can see all the tweaks Rose gets from what seth said in that one interview.

HP Reflect FADC SThrow are good news… i think 100% Rose players demanded it.
ii hope they also change HP Reflect damage from 50 to 90 ~ 100; and SThrow damage from 140 to 150 ~ 160 to make it really useful.
this way, we could combo cr LP, HP Reflect, FADC SThrow for 250 ~ 260 damage. That could worth expending two EX Bars… if not it would just be a flashy combo but that doesnt worth expending so much EX meter into.
her new ultra is disappointing though. Ugly and not very useful, i guess…
give me a way to combo into shamwow CAPCOM, damn it!
Yeah, Saqs. These types of things require a lot more testing than simply seeing what it is. Soul Illusion was a bit more obvious in its applications than this, but everyone is saying that Strider Hiryu had a Super Combo called Ouroboros that was similar? What kinds of things could he do. Maybe Rose can do the same?
Striders Orbs just kept spinning doing hits while doing a regular combo till they timed out. Roses hit once on a block or regular hit and disappeared. Thats at least what i saw in the video.
Wonder if they became unblockable with a nice stun added to them, since there is only two? prob to over powered that way.
Striders ouroboros was different in several ways. For one it shot projectiles with every button press which could add to the combo. It also stayed active for a set time period and only went away once the time was up. These orbs go away once they make contact.
I think I’m still going to use Illusion Spark. The new ultra looks like it plain sucks. And looks like great news for reflect -> Soul Throw. But you know what I see? Strider Hiryu’s super in MvC2 involved massive chip w/ Dr. Doom. As said earlier, Rose loses her orbs after it is blocked. Not to mention, when it was Rose vs Cody in one of the earlier vids, Rose used her Soul Satellite and totally used a slide, Cody used Ultra and went through all of the orbs, no problem.
It just doesn’t seem practical. Rose gets hit again!
What’s so weird is that she still has two orbs when she has her full Ultra bar, why would you wait to use Ultra then?
Then you would just FA like crazy to get her Ultra as often as possible. Unless there is something I’m missing it looks like I’m going to keep using Ultra I. Here’s hoping you can now combo into it with Fierce Reflect FADC.
Good to finally see something with Rose in it. Im glad we can ST after reflect but im kind of upset it takes fadc. I would rather have had it only juggle on Ex. then have it cost 2 meters but i guess i’ll take what i can get.
Her ultra is kind of what i was suggesting earlier in here ealier on pg 7 ( Aura Stardust Destuction or Stardust Aura Soul Destuction/Destroyer) but i figured they would make it a cinematic with rose either controlling the orbs like yamacha’s engergy ball in DBZ or them just randomly hitting you. If she controlled them her hands would be radiating the soul energy(purple or green like her mp’s) for a coulpe of hits i think i wrote 8 hits and then combinding it with her aura soul spark with he orbs going around it in a double hlix pattern for the final hit.
If they leave them in game and non cinamatic then hopefully they make it like striders: good chip,decent time limit,complete coverage,combo extender, i dont think the projectiles would work they might make rose impossible to get in on… Now that i think about it though striders projectiles from orobouros wasn’t that strong which is why you combo them with teleport so u can get in for the chip/hit damage.
