Anyone have a listing of all the Iron Man combos worth learning from different confirms? I have the KK down, just looking for air to air, SJ, throw, etc
Adding that to what I have found so far. I plan to try to write up a notation list and maybe compile them all into one video for a good reference point.
smartbomb resets. this is also my goto normal jump confirms. mehh for the mashers .you can take out Ls and go with Ms but its harder. was lazy didnt edit.might be old tech sorry
I’m pretty sure it is. It does over 300k before you do any type of ender to the combo, and if I remember correctly, pretty much all other IM throw combos will only hit 250k if that.
Gonna try to kill two birds with one stone here – answers to why infinites could be dropping and easiest corner infinites (imho)…
Sounds like your infinites could be dropping for 1 of 2 reasons. 1) After your initial air L smart bombs you must make sure you let Iron Man drop down to a lower height before performing your j.H xx flight – if you do not drop down far enough before hitting with the j.H, hit stun will get F’d in the A. If that’s not the problem, then the only other issue you should be having would be 2) you’re just not jumping off the ground fast enough – make sure you are always holding up right before you begin to touch the ground and keep holding up until Iron Man jumps again, if you stay on the ground for too long hit stun will get F’d in the A.
Make sure you’re jumping up+back before the L bombs and not straight up, too – otherwise the air L bombs don’t hit correctly.
-Easy IM corner infinites-
Remember there are a bunch of different variations you can mix and match when doing Iron Man infinites so find what works best for you – all options are available on the menu at the House of Ribs. Easiest and most reliable corner infinites for me are as follows (I use these ones because they are extremely reliable for me, very stable and very easy to manipulate timing to adjust for character height):
Down TAC – adf, j.dH xx flight, j.L, j.dH, add, j.H, j.S, infinite starter*, [infinite loop**] x n
Side TAC –addf (crosses under) xx flight, j.M, j.H, adf, j.H, adf, j.H, j.dH, add,j. H, j.S, infinite starter*, [infinite loop**] x n
Up TAC – add xx flight, j.dH, addf, j.dH, addf, j.dH, addf, j.dH, add, j.H, j.S, infinite starter*, [infinite loop**] x n
*jump up back, L smart bombs, (fall slightly), j.H xx flight, j.M,j. S, (land and immediately jump up again)
**[j.M,j. M, j.H xx fly, j.M, j.H, adb, j.H, adf, j.H, j.dH, add, j.H, j.S] x n
Another note to keep in mind is that sometimes you’ll need to adjust your initial timing after the TAC to accommodate for where your character was when you TAC’d. For instance, if I TAC from Spider Man to Iron Man I use normal timing to combo after the TAC – however, if I TAC from Viper to Iron Man after doing Viper’s air series, jump cancel, air series then TAC I’ll be a little higher in the air for the side and up TACs and I’ll need to adjust timing a little by delaying inputs at certain points a little bit. You’ve really just got to put some time in the lab learning all the little nuances and timings and how each hit affects character height, etc. Once you fully understand it all, Iron Man’s infinites are so extremely reliable from start to finish – you’ll never drop the infinite.
I just saw it when I came to thanks everyone as I can now do the infinites consistently. Got to figure out even the “not jumping fast enough” thing.
btw you seems to be doing a bit more stylish version of the infinite, I will look it up
After getting the hang of it, those are really not that hard.
i’ve found where i was going wrong first canceling the S before add,j. H, j.S really quickly and secondly wait a tad bit for all the smart bombs to hit before j.H xx flight, j.M,j. S - j.M,j. M, j.H xx fly, j.M, j.H blah blah
Iron Man looks VERY hard to use. I’m trying to learn one of his early bnbs, but it’s getting tough. Being an Iron Man fan, I want to use him. It’s just…yeah, I’m coming across a couple of roadblocks here. One in particular is s.H into flight. Oftentimes the training dummy just flips right out of it even on my fastest press.
