Why are ADDF cancels after the first j.H seen as better than ADF? It makes the jump loop easier to connect at the end into launcher?

edit: I’ve been grinding your combo a lot Duck Strong, I still have not gotten it down yet because its pretty hard, at least for me. But I didn’t manage to carry them down for the jump loop, into ground chain, launcher part. I did c.M, s.H, S and it whiffed though. I see in the combo now you have it as c.M, S. Is there any reason sticking a s.H causes it to whiff? I don’t think its a HSD issue so it must be a spacing one. I’ll just do c.M, S from now on.

Trying to get down the flight combo BnB… Quick question.

The “unfly” part after j.M, j.M, j.H … Then you unfly and do falling j.H. Why is it necessary to manually cancel flight here? It seems to me like it auto-cancels and you drop into the j.H anyways. But while doing that I can’t get the rest of the combo to connect. Usually only land one of the following j.M’s after I drop to the ground. I’m assuming it’s due to the fact that I’m not manually cancelling it. (haven’t gotten the timing down yet) but I’m just wondering why exactly that has to be done for the combo to work properly? What mechanics are at work here requiring that? Is there somehow more hitstun added this way, or what?

Just got this to work mid screen on Arthur:

cr. m, cr. H, fly, j.M, j.M, j.H, j.S, land, cr.M, launcher into air combo OTG super, etc.

It seems pretty decent for people with mediocre execution like myself. Only problem I can see is that people were saying the Krispy Kreme combo or whatever can reach from pretty much any range, I think the one I just did requires you to be pretty close.

You do the unfly manually so you can land immediately after the 2nd j.H. I bet you are coming down with j.S which is why you can’t complete the rest of the combo. They fall too low for the jump loop if you fall with j.S. The combo you listed will work but not at the range/reliability that the KK will. Just practice and you’ll get it down.

Duck Strong did you ever share the notation for your 800k+ corner solo combo? I can’t remember.

Also Danke, I know you showed me during our casual session at EVO, but do you mind giving me the notation of your air to air combo again?

Catch them in the air with j.hs, addf, j.h, fly, j.dh, addf, j.h, adf, j.h, unfly, j.dh, cr.ms, j.mmhdhs into whatever.

Well, it’s kinda moot now that he has an infinite. It involved doing a self TAC, kinda like Doom can do.

Oh I thought it was just a high damage corner combo, not a TAC combo.

Well, I’m not sure if those are escapable. The ones where you do the TAC really low to the ground and then recover immediately so that the next character doesn’t come out.

I was kind of just wondering if Iron Man had anything better than the KK in the corner damage wise, I guess it doesn’t really matter and you’re better off developing resets off L Smart Bombs if you don’t have the meter to kill anyway.

They can escape it if they mash correctly.

Duck Strong I remember you saying you came up with a good corner combo that did over 800k. It wasn’t a TAC. Did I misread your post or something?

There are tons of solo corner combos that do over 800k. Some of them are even practical, lol.

I was shooting for a practical 900k. Now that would be interesting.

I just got a Galaxy Nexus so maybe I’ll finally get off my ass and make some more vids. I hate having to move my desktop computer to capture stuff :(.

Duck Strong, can you make a video of your anti-air combo? I can hit the whole thing up until the jump loop part, it seems as though a lot of the time the opponent is too high up to get caught by c.M, S after the j.M, j.M, j.dH, S string. Maybe I just need to need to delay it a lot more?

So we can combine tech, no? By using Duck Strong’s staircase to come down, doesn’t that mean ironman can do this TAC infinite off of any type of TAC?
The infinite itself doesn’t seem that hard.
