Yo she-hulk sent isn’t nearly as good as people made it out to be, or maybe Im just doing it wrong. Ill do some more testing, but at the moment drones are borderline useless against an opponent who is zoning, and considering thats she-hulks biggest weakness, well it doesn’t work out as well as i woulda thought.
I prefer she-hulk task over sent. Best projectile assist for her imo.
After a little more play time, I realized I had been using it wrong. Drones are terrible for getting in on a good zoner, at least for me(maybe Im just wack like that). But once you get in those things are ridiculous, people become afraid to hit buttons, just sitting there blocking, they either duck under them or jump over, two things shulk can easily punish. Plus they seem to be very good at stoping tech rolls so shulk can keep her pressure going. Overall I really like them when used in this manner, only issue is they still kinda suck when it comes to using em to get in.
Of course all this positivity could just be because my opponents didn’t know how to deal with the drones.
I think drones for getting in is very very sucky vs “beam teams” and she doesn’t really provide good cover for sent either so if your not careful you might lose him. But by being up in your opp’s face, now drones are safeish and like you said makes it tough for your opp to move. Now that means you need another character to get in. With a beam or something. But tron - shulkie seems to be a very good 1 -2 combo. Dealing with ammy and dante however. ugh!
Been running Shulk/Hulk and either Arthur (daggers), Dormammu (hole), Spidey (web ball) or Chris (gunfire M).
Arthur and Dorm I usually run her on point, Arthur dagger assist is a great approach, or using Dorm to make her slide/grab attempts safe. I like running her first because one reset = dead character, also I can use her TACc. However, if I lose her I’m in a bad spot, because Hulk and Dormammu’s damage output drops significantly.
With Spidey and Chris I use her as anchor or in secondary spot. Spidey or Chris are solid to start with, they have good damage output, and build a lot of meter. This way I ensure I keep her as an OTG for Hulk/Spidey, and she works pretty good as an anchor, though she does have some trouble with keepaway without an approach assist.
I would rather use her on point, but the detriment to my team if I lose her is pretty substantial. Thoughts?
hulk dorm can actually be a scary combo. in the corner you can call dark hole assist before you otg gamma wave and then relaunch.
sinister on the option select stream runs hulk task dorm and it’s pretty sick.
I’ve been running she hulk, hulk, tron lately with some good results too.
Trying to rebuild my she-hulk team from scratch, Im doing research into an assist that’ll help she-hulk set-up resets after otg torpedos. At the moment the only thing I can think of is spencer, but I don’t really enjoy playing him. sigh Ill just go with that for now and see how it goes from there.
I’m running Shulk/Dorm(Hole)/Ammy (Star) This team works wonders. For pressure and approach. I’ve had so much luck with this team in tournaments and such is ridiculous.
does she hulk go good with zero? i just started learning her so im not sure but from what ive done i think they do go pretty good
Running Shulk/Wesker(or Ammy)/Doom. Shulk has Torpedo, Wesker has lower shot(Ammy has cold star), and Doom has beams. Dooms beam is powerful, stays on screen a decent amount of time, and has multiple hits. Absolutely love it for approaching with Shulk.
Anyone running Shulk with Doom and using Hiddle Missiles, but no other ground projectile? Can you get in at all against a zoning team? Probably not right? I should probably run Molecular Shield.
Been thinking of trying out She-Hulk/M.O.D.O.K./Doom. Anyone have an opinion on if M.O.D.O.K. could compliment She-Hulk at all?
@ the realyst i was using doom i found that plasma beam worked a little better than the other two, hidden missles is still a great assist for u u just have to be extra careful because doom is out there for a very long time, and shulkie has no good solution when it comes to protecting him other than blocking
Been trying out She-Hulk/Shuma/Sentinel. A fun group to do DHC combos with, although my favorite trick is to box in my opponent and use chaos dimension. I am worried about getting zoned out, but Shuma’s mystic ray has been very helpful.
Can you preform’s storms dragon punch dhc with she hulks dragon punch dhc and otg with her charging light special? My friend says you can I can’t do it but maybe im not fast enough could some 1 try?
I’m currently running a Spidey (web ball)/She hulk (torpedo)/ Task (H. arrows) team and Spidey fills in the reset role nicely. I have one midscreen setup where I call spidey during c. H, S and then sj. H, sj. S timed so that the opponent lands on the web ball as they fall. Depending on your timing you can land, and go for one of her command grabs or j. L and start her air loop (j.LHS, j.MHS, etc.). My more reliable one is combo to flying screen and then call spidey and OTG with butt splash. Depending on your timing they will either pop out of web ball in the air or left standing on the ground. I usually just do qcf H timed late so I don’t have to guess where they will land. You can also do your OTG torpedo resets nicely because they are left in the air for a 50/50 mixup.
Web ball is good for resets because opponents can’t recover forward or backwards. And if they decide to mash buttons, just jab 'em to start her air loop or use her super armor moves like her butt slam.
Hmmmm, might test that out, Im currently running she-hulk/spencer/akuma but I always wanted a spiderman team so ill test that out as well.
Would you use she hulk for anything other than on point? I have a magnus, tron, she hulk team. Would she be good as anchor?
From my experience, She-Hulk makes a terrible anchor. She has issues dealing with pressure by herself from the likes of Wolverine, and then there’s characters like Phoenix, Taskmaster, and Magneto who can easily zone her out.
As for my team, I’m currently running two teams, one being She-Hulk (Torpedo)/Storm (Whirlwind)/Spencer (Slant Shot, though I’m experimenting with Storm and Wire Grapple to see if I can do some fancy stuff). Spencer makes a good anchor if played right, and Storm helps She-Hulk get in so she can apply her special brand of justice. You also can’t go wrong with having Hailstorm to DHC into incase you mess up your hypers. Overall it feels like a solid team, so long as you can play Storm and Spencer well on point.
fighting a campy team is really touugh i have no idea how to deal with magneto and doom. i run s-hulk/wolvie/sent usually my shulk trembles and im left with 2 against 3 with pretty much full health any ideas on how to get in?
