Can Tron fight, or is she mainly just good for her assist?
^^^ Yeah tron can do some really serious damage 1.2 mill in the corner for 3 bars and her normals are multiple hif so you can hit confirm her moves off anything. Also her jump In h is a great attack and shuts down lots of anti airs. You don’t want to be in the corner vs her. She’s too hard for me to use but she can wreck.
I have just read that Bronzefist used a Phoenix team.
My main is Phoenix, and i found a red She hulk, red Hulk, red and black Phoenix team really fun. The red colour team is awesome
Both Hulks have so much life that even when i’m being owned i get to Phoenix close to the 5 bars, and with a serious option to win the match.
For fun, sometimes i switch Phoenix with a red character: red Captain America, deadpool, etc…
If it the colours of the team don’t fit together, that’s not for me.
This is what I wanted to ask too. I know Tron’s assist is amazing w/ Shulk, but howabout gool ol’ Akuma? I love his assist in general and feel much stronger fighting with him than I do with Tron. Could he work equally well w/ Shulk? My idea is SheHulk Akuma Sent, using Sent assist to get in, Akuma assist once there (or close).
Any potential there? I figure if they block the assist, cL mixed with fwd+H would make for a sweet mixup, but I’m really new to She-Hulk so please tell me if the idea is flawed. thanks!
Akuma’s assist is good for getting people off of you but I found it near impossible to combo off of. I’ve finally gone ahead and added Sentinal in with She-Hulk and Ryu. You can easily combo off of his Sentinal Force Chargeand he’s has enough health that if someone catches him as an assist he won’t die in one combo. The same can not be said for Akuma.
If tatsu assist hits, after the kicks are done hitting, launch them as they’re falling. Connected Akuma assist = free launch combo
I managed something like that a couple of times in training but I found that outside of the corner, Akuma tended to push to opponent too far away for a consistent follow-up. But it may just be me sucking.
Hahaha that’s funny. When I first did the Hulks / Phoenix team I used that color config as well. Now I just use all three of them in their default colors. It’s awesome because instead of it being team red, it’s now team green. Phoenix’s green default outfit looks great with the Hulks.
I honestly haven’t played that team much lately. I’ve been on a She Hulk / Hulk / Arthur obsession.
Blocked tatsu should be great potential. I’m sure she can juggle with launcher in the corner. Maybe she can call tatsu, OTG torpedo, and have the opponent get caught in the tatsu for relaunch? Dunno gotta test.
If you can time it right I believe launching an H Heavy Strike to connect when thier block stun ends is a viable tactic.
lol I know what you mean, I mean naturally I won’t go out of my way just to play a character just cause he color co-ordinates with the rest of my team. But if the choice is between a few characters I will always pick the one that matches. Part of the reason why I was so upset that the alternate costumes didn’t have alternate color schemes but thats another story.
But on more of a gameplay point of view, how would you saw that team works in terms of synergy? I mean both hulks seem to make good batteries since they can get serious damage out without meter and only one of them even has a lvl 3. But in terms of assist synergy, how does the team fare? Just curious cause I have always wanted to play a phoenix team, but also a she-hulk team so if the two of them work out well together I think I might have two of my teammates. Probably sub out hulk for tron or something since they both have the same health but I think shulk and phoenix tbh would both benefit from that assist(who doesn’t). Plus tron has a few colors that can work with that team.
@ThisGuileKillYa: I honestly don’t think you need both sent and akumas assists, since I think drones and tatsu both serve generally the same purpose. I would switch out either for rocket punch or dive kick. The former will help you extend your combos whilst the latter can set up some nice unblockable since shulk has some good lows. I definitely wouldn’t recommend running both, its like having a team with 2 projectile assists.

ALSO, has anyone found a way to time the emerald cannon to combo into doom’s level 3? i can only get it if i DHC off of the first hit of the emerald cannon, and then that’s just a huge waste.
^ I’ve had a real hard time landing most ‘catch’ supers from emerald cannon.
Lately, I’ve been really loving Shulkie and Trish but I can’t seem to choose a definite third. Any suggestions?

She Hulk, Ammy, Morrigan…they all compliment each other
My business team is She Hulk, Taskmaster, Sentinel. They all DHC to each other, Drones work great as an assist to setup mixups with both Shulk and Taskmaster unblockables, they air combo tag into each other well too…very meter hungry team. I like to DHC out of She Hulk as soon as I will kill their point character, because I like LVL 3 XF with She hulk to cancel blockstun and then lvl 3 super throw anyone that tries to rush me down.
IMO Tron. I also use She Hulk and Taskmaster on my main team (She Hulk BnB easily DHC to Taskmaster, they work well together), I would go with Tron because Viper is another rushdown character, Tron assist is amazing and she will add variety to your team as well as additional chipping ability.
Who would you guys suggest to go with She-Hulk/Tron? Doom or Amaterasu? I know Justin’s been using Amaterasu, but I’m not really feeling that dog like that. I’ll use her if that’s the no brainer choice though.
Depends on your playstyle. Talking about assists, Amaterasu´s cold star help you stay in there while doom helps control space more whether you use rocks or hidden missiles.
Now to talk about playing with them. If you don´t feel comfortable playing with ammy then go with Doom since ammy is not that easy to play with and her low health is something to really consider. Ammy takes work to get used to and exploit her full potential since she is a very versatile character but very hard to master. Her okami shuffle super can DHC into almost anything though so you can take that into account on making your choice. If you really wantto try and use ammy then hit that training mode with her and practice all her bnbs.
Doom is also a versatile character. He has good mobility and he deals huge damage on his combos if you learn them well. He can also zone well so there you go.
I say don´t use a character you feel uncomfortable with so go with the Doctor.
i’m thinking of pairing shehulk (torp) with dante (jam session???) and with doom (rocks)
rocks allow shehulk and dante to get in. doom can do rocks and dante can teleport in. shehulk sometimes has trouble vs projectile/zoning characters, and dante’s teleport is a nice way to counterbalance this weakness in the team i think.
plus, if shehulk is on point, she can DHC into both dante’s level 1 and level 3 if you need. however, doom has poor dhc potential after dante’s level 1 unless you are in the corner i think.

She-hulk & Doom is just a match made in heaven. Basically all his assists can be utilized in She-hulks game really effectively, so take your pick.
I’ve been trying to roll with rocks mostly just to stay away from hidden missiles (it’s just so whored out) but I have such a ridiculous time raping fools with that beta assist. You can catapult into all kinds of unsafe shit and have missiles there to back you up (most times people won’t even see the Doom assist if your catapulting properly) and against characters with poor assist punishment options they will either try to run or just guard against hidden missles in which case you can use their brace time to get a free running grab. Pressuring them after missiles have launched is almost a guaranteed combo, you can tick them and then go for command grab while they anticipate more pressure into missiles lock down.
