After a bit of practice I’ve found that pausing a bit after clothesline (running out of the corner) then runners start, run stop, launch seems a bit easier.
I came up with (or at least found) a pretty silly 50/50 incoming mixup for She-Hulk involving Clothesline. Maybe other people have found this before, but here it is:
After you kill a character, wait for a second, then start charging Chariot and just let it charge all the way. Even if you run under the next character coming in, She-Hulk turns around and can cross them up with a really ambiguous (and armored) Clothesline.
This works well on characters with poor air mobility, since others can air dash or double jump out of it, but those can be baited with this technique after your opponent starts predicting it. And of course, its armor means that a lot of characters can’t swing against it at all. I tried this out a few times at a meetup the other day and people got hit by it pretty consistently.
I’ve been using this as one of my main mix ups. I use zero as my 2nd character and I use his srk assist to keep the enemy in hitstun in the air, I use that time to charge the clothesline and hit them with the 50/50. It’s really good but I still haven’t figured out a way to kill a character off that mix up
go for a reset.
I’d go for a reset like SavageGhostRider said, or perhaps a TAC combo. I’m pretty sure Zero can turn a TAC exchange into lightning loops, right? I guess if you use the assist to lock them in the air it might not be possible to exchange into Zero so easily, but maybe your third character can still do decent damage.
I hate that so many of She-Hulk’s moves cause a wall bounce in addition to her hyper… seems pretty unfair.
I don’t use TAC’s much, since I like to keep she-hulk in, but zero can definitely do lightning loops off them. I hit the lab for a bit and I saw that I can dhc into lightning loops if I do it during the first hit of emerald cannon, but only works in the corner; I do love going for resets with her though. I started using her overhead a lot more, it catches a lot of people off-guard, some even forgot she had one lol
zero can convert off that crossover counter, plus she-hulk can guarantee a dead character if your execution with zero is on point…its all about resets with she hulk not really the combo damage.
I’ve got a quick match-up question, how do you guys deal with lvl. 4+ frank? holy shit I cannot get in at all, I can’t even use her anti-air super on him, gets beat clean by that B. I usually set up dante as a vertical shield and poke with her lamp and that works sometimes but its the only way I can really apply any zoning, soon she gets cornered she’s done lol
I think the only surefire way to deal with Level 4 Frank is to keep him at level 3 or lower lol
(I have a lot of trouble in the match too ;( can’t even kara slide -> air grab under those saws…)
i was spectating online, and i saw she-hulks level 3 connect from behind her! lol that was so cool.
sorry, not a question, but i just wanted to write that somewhere.
I’ve had it happen when Frank tries to roll and the level 3 animation goes funny as she is pushing an invisible person in front of the car.
Hey guys! I’m a burgeoning She-Hulk point player, and I had a question as to what the best tactic is at the beginning of a match. I usually start by jumping toward the opponent with an option-select air H partnered with an assist call for Skrull’s Orbital Grudge.
I don’t get to play many humans (friends don’t care about Marvel, and I don’t have money for the online play), and the computer knows what I’m doing all day every day. So, I don’t get many fair trials of this tactic.
So, is my plan sound, or could it be improved? If interested, the team is She-Hulk (torpedo)/Super Skrull (orbital grudge)/Iron Man (unibeam).
Try to space yourself properly between your opponent and yourself. You want to be within the range of she-hulks slide. try to stick as close as possible.
Can I get some help with the corner relaunch? I cant connect the S after I do down down S - L.
the inputs are :d::d::s::f::l::d::d::s::s::s: your just canceling the otg with another runners start and canceling the runners start then launching. the faster u do the inputs the easier it is to hit the relaunch, but this specific relaunch only works in the corner.
Thanks, I wasn’t doing the inputs fast enough.
what is the mid screen variation of this?
also is there a good she hulk guide out there? i played her in vanilla and a little bit in Ultimate. I know the basic combos but I wanna learn how to do some more advanced stuff with her
theres few different ones if ur on xbox u can hit me up and I shall show u the ways of she-hulk fu, if not then I suggest u back track all the she-hulk threads. the info is a bit scattered but its there.
I want to see your She-Hulk fu! Add TiiCoon
Simple Question: How reliable is She-Hulk’s Somersault+ assist as an anti-air? Is it worth it to use it?
