I have a question and I’m sorry if it has been covered before. When watching combofiend at the Runback recently (when he started running she-hulk again), he looked as though he was doing j.H+D (the butt slam), and then canceling it to perform a complete flip in the air. This let she-hulk be in the air longer than normal and cover more space with her jump. Am I delusional or is this what I am seeing?
Are you sure? I mean, all Shulk players use the Wall jump (press foward when you jump back to wall). Is that what you saw?
Ok I rewatched it, the other player was charging at him making the camera and wall move right as She-Hulk wall jumped canceled. My bad

Anyone have a troll combo that uses her level three to combo with the projectile NOT to throw the opponent? Kinda a strange request, but I’ve managed to combo with it before on accident.
opponent’s back to corner: air back throw, torpedo, torpedo, clothesline, car.
mid screen: front air throw, torpedo, torpedo, clothesline, car.
u can follow up with jump h, or h. flashkick, as they recover very quickly after the car hits. but u can go for some dirty resets/mixups…
I have other car combos off of dhc, but they are pretty specific
In regards to She Hulk being played as an anchor, you guys should watch a Japanese player named Abegen. He plays Tron, Thor, She Hulk in that respective order and his She Hulk wrecks shit. I’m sure She Hulk can be lamed out but damn his play is really sick.
I recently picked up She Hulk as well and I’m trying out Combofiend’s team because She Hulk on point allows me to use her to the max potential and Taskmaster and Spencer is on my main team and gives my team a feeling of somewhat familiarity. I play against a friend of mine and he runs Spencer Doom (missiles) Wesker (or his new team with Morrigan instead of Wesker). And I like to know, how do you even deal with this team. Missiles flying batshit everywhere, can’t convert off airthrows because I need to block missiles; can’t get in whatsoever; and once he gets in with missiles 50/50 guess high low and get blown up in one combo from Spencer. Does anybody have any tips on dealing with this stupid team with She Hulk on point?
you need to pick off doom as soon as possible, spencer is alot less threatening without an assist to protect him. now since you are running taskmaster i would suggest running him on point in that matchup…another thing you can do is utilize the wall hop jennifer has to avoid that nonsense on screen, try to stay as close to super jump height to help avoid the bullet hell… if she dares trying to air dash toward you…take out the trash. I have seen what abe-gen does with she-hulk and its far less reliable to have her on anchor even with the things she gets from x-factor…pushblocking also helps minimizing the possibility of you getting mixed-up.
cr.l, standing m, and the somersault are good ways of pushing her towards the corner.
how do you guys deal with tri-dash characters?
Sick with She-hulk he is, and technically speaking you can put her or any other character on anchor and rock with her, but it’s not recommended because she doesn’t have aerial answers.
Is playing semi aggressive with the team or full fledged runaway? Either way, Striders assist or Taskmaster’s up arrow, along with a nice ground pressure assist and you should be fine.

you can pressure doom with emp when he is called as an assist, plus magneto can stay at sj height to avoid that nonsense that morrigan can spew. and any happy birthday you get with magneto can be converted to emerald cannon or vice versa. air grabbing morrigan is also a very strong option for magneto if he can get close enough… another option is using captain america (charging star)as a crossover counter when your close allowing you to punish doom severely cap also has good synergy with jennifer(well somewhat…they dhc into eachother pretty well.)credit to THEEPICRAMEN for the cap tech a good example of a team would be magnus/she-hulk/taskmaster or she-hulk/cap/sentinel OR frank west…then again maybe akuma…
Near the corner after torpedo -> runners start, clothesline how do you stay facing the corner?
cancel in to runners start cancel again to neutral, dash out of the corner. launch again.
for the spencer and missile duo. What I usually do is play really patient and see the pattern of when they call out doom. I notice that a lot call him and then immediately zipline across the screen. Taking out the trash is really good against that because the animation of the super is long enough for the missiles to whiff. Instead of launching right after taking out the trash I go for either an air throw reset or if I have meter another taking out the trash. you can either go for a tac for big damage or snap in that doom and get rid of him.
also, tri dash characters get eaten up by her srk. That’s how I keep the pressure off me, since she can start running as soon as she lands, I can keep doing consecutive srk’s until they respect it lol for doom’s footdive, clothesline does not give a fuck. super armor ftw
the way i do it is to let all the missiles fire from doom, then about 3 or 4 seconds runners start-> catapult->senton bomb(lol it has armor) and i think its plus or its neutral on block so they can’t really punish me, and she gets to stay in their face…
