I’ve been successfully robbed/swindled twice, and the first was when I was 15. The second time I had a gun to my head, and when thinking about it later I realized that thieves are walking contradictions. They don’t care who you are, why they shouldn’t take from you, whos lives they will ruin by stealing from you. But if you were about to take their lives from them, you’re supposed to care why you shouldn’t kill them, who’s lives you will affect, how you could ruin a family. They are selfish pieces of shit who only exist to steal the good things others have struggled to build for themselves. I do not feel sorry for this woman, and those who do have never had something forcibly taken from them and experienced the blinding rage that follows.

Let’s assume that this old man had let this woman live, and that kid had been born. That kid’s life could take any path. Sure, one of those paths may have been the same as the mother’s. Or they end up in foster care because their mother got arrested and they get put on a straight path. Or they get arrested and decide to go on the straight path. Or they just decide on their own to not be like their mother and go on the straight path. There is no way to know how that unborn child’s life would turn out, so assuming how it would turn out when the child hasn’t even been born yet would be something a fucking idiot would do, wouldn’t it?
