REALLY. ITS JUSTIFIED IF ITS RAPE? But if someone breaks INTO YOUR HOME. One of the few places where you’re supposed to have safety and starts stealing everything you’ve amassed your entire 80 years then its not justified. WTF is wrong with you. Im sorry but I dont think any of you realize that the burglars just being in his home in the first place is grounds for self defense. I dont think you guys realize how serious home invasion is. The fact that they’re now being chased out of his home doesn’t just change the self defense aspect of things. As soon as they take those first steps outside the house the old man doesn’t just throw his hands in the air and go “WELP, it was a good try!”. They’re running away with his shit after they just broke into his house stole his stuff and broke his collarbone.

yeah i have a mother, and she doesn’t go around beating up old people and robbing them. and we were very poor growing up as immigrants so stfu about facing struggles. smh liberals making excuses for scumbag criminals. apparently the dude had been targeted for robbery multiple times. so if he had indeed let her go, she would most likely have returned, better armed and better prepared. quite possibly would have murdered him the fourth time around too, because obviously these people are vile.

let me ask you this: do YOU have a mother? what if she returned home to a couple robbing her home, and they beat her up? and she goes to grab her gun, in fear of her life, chases one of the perps down and eliminates the threat? you’d want her to face jail time over this? you are a seriously disturbed individual. liberals need to have less empathy for the dregs of society and more empathy for people who don’t assault others. reminds me of those stories i hear (hopefully apocryphal) about robbers who injure themselves burglarizing someones home and then suing the victims and winning.

So you have to be a “liberal” to hold these views? I hate how both sides automatically ASSume that whenever someone disagrees with them, they are automatically of the opposing political viewpoint.

Well we both know they don’t execute for robbery but just the same I don’t blame the old man for killing her would I have done the samething? If I was thinking ratianale probably not but not sure I would be thinking clearly in that spot. Truth be told it would be great that all this never happened but it did and while I don’t take pleasure from her death she brought it on herself by robbing and terrorizing an old man. Legally speaking did he break the law probably so but on a personal level I ain’t mad at him

WRONG I love how you just assume that I would side with the other “side” anytime an issue comes up. Too bad if you search my post history I am always skewering the republicans for trying to legislate morality, turning the country into a theocracy, bombing brown people, wasting taxpayer money on smarter bombs to drop on brown people, and arguing for more tax breaks for rich people, which has been proven not to work. Me, I formed my ideology by borrowing what I consider the best parts of all the ideologies out there, and discarding the bits I disliked.

I dislike liberals defending bad guys. Happens far too frequently on my FB news feed. I like conservatives who advocate family values. Part of family values includes murder death killing any despicable people that would violate the sanctity of your house. So in this case, I am cheering on the old man for being a hero. Its just unfortunate he couldn’t exterminate the male vermin accomplice. In the case in florida where an old man just shot up a bunch of black people for playing loud music, I condemn the actions of that old man. Maybe in your world people view things in black and white, but I try and look at things on a case by case basis.
