Question about Cerebella close range and long range grab.
Is there a point where player 2 can be to far for the close grab but not far enough for the far grab? or does the far range grabs hitbox (grabbox?) start when the close range grabs hitbox ends.
so iirc itâs been said you would be able to insert yourself into previously recorded matches (to figure out how to deal w/ random situations etc). Would it be possible to insert yourself into a recording as your opponentâs chars instead?
Since it was brought up in the general discussion thread; does 2D fuzzy guard (which, as I understand it, means after stand blocking a move your vulnerable hitboxes remain your standing ones for the duration of blockstun, even if you crouch) exist in this game?
Yes, if you block something standing, even if you hold down-back during blockstun you remain in standing position.
Thatâs a conscious choice, but the original reason for this is only because the alternative looks really stupid if you waggle the stick around. :^)
OK, about Ms. Fortune, can you do moves at the same time as you do head moves? Example: can you do a kick normal at the same time as the head moves? Take off your head, then hit FP+FK to make her kick at the same time as her head move? If not, how much leeway is there? Do you have to do the normal first, or the head move first?
Since the head moves donât have any recovery for the body, I was wondering about this.
Oh⌠right. Well I suppose in the air it wouldnât be⌠or after calling in an assist.
Can you do the sneeze in the air? Say, youâre comboing and above the headâs current location, can you sneak in a dp+HP between the strings in the air?
According to CopperDabbit, M. Fortuneâs 214P has to be held in order to get the head back. Does this mean that if I set the assist to be 214P, she wonât be able to call it back as an assist? ;_;
(214? GRRRR.)
Yes, the recall has to be held, but if you have that as your assist without your head it will hold it for you until it comes back. Reverge cares!
You can do things with the head anytime youâre the point character, except when you are in hitstun/blockstun/being thrown/doing a super.
Does anyone have moves like Ninaâs "when going from crouch to stand lk != 2 lk/ 5 lk"
And Ryuâs wall kick 4, 6, mk , Something like 1frame charge move
In resume Command normals.
So, I was watching the latest Friday Night Fight, and I noticed something that appeared to be a new change. Though, it requires a little background:
When I played Skullgirls at EVO, whenever you had a fight that involved a 3 or 2 person team vs a 1-person team/ratio 4, there would only be one round. However, if two ratio 4 characters played against each other, it was a best of three. In the latest FNF, we had a 3-person team vs a ratio 4, and it looked like it was a best of three due to theâŚâvictory bubblesâ underneath the health bar. âŚyeah, my fighting game terminology needs some work.
Anyway, has the round system been changed to a best of three no matter the amount of characters on a team? Or is it only a best of three if a ratio 4 is involved?
well, the FNF was only one round⌠there has been no mention of changing the round system. there might be an option for that though⌠who knows? (the answer to that question is Mike Z)
Deleted a good number of posts here for a couple reasons:
Had nothing to do with the QUESTIONS & ANSWERS section.
Just an ongoing heated discussion where multiple people have to be right about something and no one can see eye to eye.
Come on guys, weâre bigger than this. This is a warning to everyone, next time I see something going off topic in to something remotely close to this size will get an infraction.
Move the thread along, stay away from the topic of notations for a couple days to get it off your minds.
P.S.: I was planning to clear out the posts that had nothing to do with this thread on Friday.
