Question for Mike:
Is speed of meter gaining alters for various team sizes? Because teams needs DHCes to keep damage on par with single char, which means they need more meter. Or is this disparity is just one of single charās pros to balance out lack of options?

Will we get charactersā color templates you were talking about in palette suggestions thread? I really want to edit the crap out of Ms. Fortune⦠In good way of course! =]
But if you already gave her Buggy the Clown and Celty Sturlusson palettes then donāt bother. I personally do not want anything else.

Is the game even quicker now? The IGN fight seemed even quicker than fights already sped up by 10%. Also what happened to the Ms fortune blood slide sound effect? It sounded like it was missing.
Loving the new intro btw but i agree you shouldnāt be allowed to act until the screen is clear.

The short answer is, we tried stuff, but at present single characters are still plenty good without any of this - adding VS life regen was way too much, and even red life alpha counters were very strong.
Iād like to avoid giving them any sort of unique move because Iām not really trying to give SG āgroovesā per se, thatās an overall design choice. Single characters are the newbie-friendly team since you donāt have to worry about assists/tagging/etc, so I prefer that your character is who they are and you donāt have to learn additional moves that are then unusable when you decide to try adding a teammate.
Iām open to changing things in the future (in order: red life ACs, VS regen, just defend) if single characters end up completely useless like CvS2, but this is NOT going to be in a knee-jerk patch 2 months after release. At the same time, though, if there has to be a generally stronger team setup I would rather it be 2 or 3 instead of 1, because the dynamics are more interestingā¦to me, anyway, and Iām the one making the choice, so ha.
In 1v1 does meter carry over between rounds?
Iāll keep it in mind! Youāre just way better at answering fan questions than most FG devs so I just kind of expect you to get around to everyone. Stop setting such high standards, man!
After watching the latest FNF, Iāve gottaā agree that single characters are alreadyā¦really strong. The Fortune player was barely hitting combos and still took out a team of three with life to spare. It instantly brought back memories of using Ratio 4 Geese in CvS2. The entire other team just had to go all out and still could only whittle her health down. Single characters werenāt ENTIRELY useless in CvS2, but the ones that werenāt were more the exception to the rule than anything.
Speaking of Geese, Iād love to see a counter-focused character in SG. āPREYDEECTABULL!ā

Are there any charge moves that can be used while moving in the game so far? Not charge moves as in Guile moves, I mean moves like Zeroās Buster or Mega Manās charge shot.

What happened to the background music from FNF #3? If itās been removed, will it (and other deleted tracks) be included in the OST release? Will music from trailers be included as well?
Last I heard they were thinking of using that as the training stage music, but nothing is final. That song is from a stage that ended up getting cut, I think.
Iirc, this was recorded before the theme for this particular stage was finished. The song was a filler.

Can Ms. Fortune do a head move at the same time as another attack? Say she does f+HP+HK. Does the head move while she throws a kick? If itās not simultaneous, how close together can the inputs be?
Random suggestion for what to do with 1 char teamās red life, if something has to be done, have chip damage start at red life. Or is blocking a lot not newbie friendly??
I think the team have enough harebrained suggestions to last them up through Skullgirls 5 at this point.
