Agreed, he says it perfectly in Tekken 6.
TVC? Seriously?
All I can see is 3s with a spice of TTT.
what?
I don’t know what we’re yelling about.
3rd Strike with a spice of Tekken Tag Tournament.
street fighter x(cross) tekken is like tekken in street fighter!?? maybe with soul caliber elements too. whoulda thunk
Someone really needs to ask in a interview about the netcode, I don’t to go through MVC3 online again. I know SF4’s netcode was not that great and I expecting this to be worse unless they do something about it.
Also if we’ll have to buy alt. costumes.
its going to have bad net code because its being developed by capcom
Jack-6 better be in SF x Tekken
This from Ono’s team so it’s likely not to use what was in MvC3. Game being developed using the SF4 engine so it’s likely gotta use that game’s code or improve on it.
Didn’t they state that the same team that did SFIV’s netcode also did MvC3’s?
It was stated they used the same network engineers specifically.
anyone expecting a good netcode from this game should be prepared to be dissapointed
Does the charge feature exist for all or some of the special moves? Does it relate only to those moves in the same branch as the characters super?
I’ve only seen Ryu charge Hadouken so far, and he has Shinkuu as his super. Ken has a Shippu Jinrai Kyaku super and I’ve only seen a charge of tatsu for him. Same deal with Chun Legs. Haven’t seen her super, but I’d figure it’s Hoyokusen or Senretsukyaku.
I wonder what that could mean for Akuma… His Raging Demon is not derivative from his specials, so perhaps it won’t be his Super. It could mean a chargeable Shoryu and a Messatsu Gou Shoryu Super. Or even an air fireball charge for an air fireball Super, which you’d expect would be a powerful combination.
On another note:
Eventhubs has a small news point on Ono teasing multi(4) player in the game. Tekken Tag had this feature (in console) and the Tag system for this game is based off the Tekken Tag design, so it’s realistic to believe that could be in store for this game.
i dont understand why the netcode is so difficult in 2011. Cant they take some advice from 1st Person Shooters like for instance DICE for BF3?
If they can get a game on PC that can do 64 players without alot of issues why cant they get it right with 1 on 1 2d/3d fighter? Seems weird. Or am i missing something?
Would having hosted servers solve the lag? its Peer to Peer atm yeah?
dedicated servers would make things worse
Isn’t this a 2012 release? There’s plenty of time to harass Capcom if so.
i would have thought if the game was large enough having dedicated server hosted locally would be better. Compare say Call of Duty on console to Bad Company 2 on PC. My ping is always under 40. COD is like 100+ locally.
I guess its the waiting game to see what they do this time if anything. on PC when the situation was local it was fantastic. No lag and just as smooth as LAN situation. When SF4 died a bit on PC i went and played on alot of Japanese hosted games which was ok most of the time.
Really hoping they include Juri in SF x Tekken, because I’m eager to see how Kazuya and her would react to one another’s glowing left eye, lol.
This… This this this this this. :3
