Gamerave and Luna video games in SD will not have it early by the way, asked in person earlier today.
Tried locally owned Play n Trades in New Orleans and fail - treated me like I was asking them for a pound of cocaine or something. Going to try west bank K-Mart tomorrow but it took them a few weeks to get SF4 so thats probably a fail as well. Any New Orleans help would be awesome =D I am going to keep trying but if I can’t find anything by noon tomorrow its bestsku for me. (Bestsku still hasn’t shipped for anyone on order status right?)
On the same note though, don’t be flat out posting the exact locations here either, its not cool to publicly blow up spots that are doing a cool ( but also illegal ) thing. Just tell people to PM you if they’re in X area.

Although it is not exactly illegal, just breach of contract which means the owner of the property (Capcom) would have to take action against the mom n pop, not like the police can go arrest the owner for selling the item.

The usual spots I got to in the Chi-town suburbs have basically told me to fuck off and that I can preorder and pick it up on tuesday, so thats not looking good for chicago people.

Even that is enough info to get a place in trouble if Capcom actually decides to care about it. Either the place is indie enough that the name will absolutely identify it, or it is corporate enough that it is trivial for the home office to audit their sales records electronically.
I’m not saying identifying these shops should be disallowed, or even that Capcom for sure cares, but it is probably better to be clear about the risks to the shops.
