Video Games NYC Idk if they will have it but they usually have games the thursday b4 release so im pretty much going to be waiting for their call while in school then when i get that call im out asap lol
I get out of work early Friday so I’m down to drive basically anywhere. How do you guys search for the mom and pop game stores? My area is kinda remote so we’ve only got major chains in the immediate area.

If you’re in LA try Game Play in Long Beach or Culver City. I heard from a very reliable source, ultradavid, that they usually sell early. I’m in San Diego so I can’t easily drive up there. Let me know if it works out. I hope he doesn’t mind me giving out this info but oh well I don’t see why he would. Lemme know if any of you know of anything in SD. I’m gonna call Games On tomorrow. Is there a secret to how you ask them or do you just straight up say, “can I buy the game early?”
Yes they break street date.
Went into gameplay today in long beach and ordered my copy. The guy said they’ll have it tomorrow but I wouldn’t mind it coming by this weekend. go make your order! =D

Ok I talked to the guy at Gameplay. They are saving me one. EXCELLENT. He didn’t say anything about tomorrow though.
Here’s the thing, You have to preorder at their store and they will call you when they receive it(Usually earlier than street date). They will not divulge any info over the phone because its too risky for them (since they are known street date breakers). Trust me I always get my games super early here… (MVC/SSF4/UMVC3 are the ones i can name off the top of my head)

Just to confirm what people have been saying about Michigan.
I walked in earlier today and they said the order wasn’t expected to arrive until tuesday. I’m pretty good friends with the owner, I sincerely doubt they would BS me (owner is out of town but the guy at the counter knows we’re friends).
Same thing was said about umvc3 and they still called me 4 days before release to come and pick it up.
