So…if Joe Gamer decides to break “Street Date” while working for “Gaming Chain #3” what happens? Does Capcom sue Gamestop? Does Capcom stop selling their games at that retail outlet? (lol yeah right). The employee gets fired and life goes on. When these people take risks they aren’t yelling “fire” in a crowded theater. They are earning customers and extra bucks with no risk. How did you get yours on sat, this makes me sad, I ordered on thursday it’s still sitting at the shipping center down the road, I called and they told me I couldn’t pick it up.
There are a multitude of factors really, sorry to hear about that though, that’s just messed up 
It could be: The time your order was placed, when your order was shipped, your distance from their packaging facility (in Pomona, CA), some kind of dilemma with the mailing service, etc. etc.
I live 1 hour from Pomona, so that helps. But another user on the forums ordered theirs a day before mine and got theirs earlier than me, and they live in Florida.
Take note that I got expedited shipping (2-5 days), but there’s an option on best sku for even FASTER shipping (2-3 days) that costs an extra 20 dollars or so.
I ordered on Thursday , payed for the 2-3 day shipping, it got to the shipping facility saturday at 8 am.
Doesn’t matter now, at least I get the game like 12 hours early.
Anyone with experience pre-ordering from Amazon know if they ship before release date at all? It says the estimated shipping date is freaking Wednesday and I live in Australia so I’ll probably be getting it next Monday if thats the case 
I actually contacted Newegg about it to see if I would have the game on release day. They told me their policy is that pre-orders are not even processed until the release date. Then they take 1-2 days to get it to UPS who then deliver it with 3 day shipping. So doing the math.
Tuesday it gets started, 2 days puts it at Thursday for UPS. They don’t deliver saturday unless its paid extra. With free 3 day shipping that’s a no. So 3 business days gives us friday, monday, tuesday. There is a very real chance if you ordered from Newegg you will not get this game for an extra week. Honestly 15$ is worth not having to worry about that crap. So I canceled my newegg and will just pick up my copy with my brother tomorrow night.
Meh looks like I’m waiting to get my copy at midnight from gamestop, they got a tourney going on ( LMFAO ) and idk what you get for winning but its gonna be free lunch for me, unless I can’t bring my stick and then I might lose a round on pad.
Guess its better to wait I get a bunch of random shit with the CE and some more random shit for pre ordering at gamestop.
Gamestop doesn’t let you bring in sticks for thier “tourneys” I’ve asked repeatedly they say it’s because they can’t have the stations unlocked and open or some shit. You might luck out and not get a complete idiot though.
Lol I did the exact same thing and am going to the midnight release.
For the euro’s, my online retailer just sent out my copy (arrives tomorrow) which normally doesn’t break release date. So might be that they are starting to sell it now at your store as well.
I am from the Netherlands in case that matters.
