Sigh dude cmon. I’ve played against you before you did mad gimmicky stuff while I was getting used to the game AND in the same set you lost consecutive rounds for doing random gimmicks. At the end it was something like 4-15. And this is coming from the guy who always says “I’m not even good” because I know I’m not. And after playing those matches I thought I was being trolled because they weren’t exactly the best. You do far to many gimmicks; instead just focus on playing solid. =|
Also hell yea I’m stubborn when I see things that blatalty don’t make sense it irritates me. And this discussion literally started off of me saying “Nina at +2 is more scary than Juri at +3” then you responded by saying Ex Senpusha. A sensible discussion I could understand but that is nonsense >_>
I don’t believe in gimmicks. I believe in bad reads. Also again putting words in my mouth. We never ran 19 matches. Hell the most was around 7ish. I don’t even remember who you are. I was testing the waters with Bison and Abel. I always do that. Just to see what I’m up against. I didn’t realize SC’ing all the way on Abel’s super was a gimmick…it’s not.
I can remember matches names, depending if I’m paying attention or not may not remember.I don’t remember 100% how the matches played out all I know is I SC’ed Abel’s super multiple times. And having fair success with it.
It is a sign from God. I’ve been trying out SF point characters for days trying to find a suitable point for Lei since my usual one is Bryan and he seems to have low synergy, but now I just saw my idol Ryan Hunter using Bryan/Lei.
My crisis might be over at long last. I’ll need to find a point for King as my best character though, honestly thinking yolo and just trying King/Paul.
Nina is not a rushdown but a footsie character. People who criticize the character but spend their time jumping, do not punish the skull and does not even try to block the overhead / low mixup annoys me slightly.
To beat nina (and to play her), patience is the best virtue. Be strong and work the ground game, nina is not unbeatable. Personally I much harder against any chun li that nina at the same level.
What? Am I missing something… Like seriously if she is a footsie character let me know why and which moves. I need to level up my Nina play. I just assumed a character with relatively short reach (outside of cr.mk and cr.hk) but good frame advantage on the moves with the shortest reach was suited for rushdown.

Teh…It’s called bad spacing…and I never tested it vs Elena’s st.lk…yet. You talk a lot too. “Oh I can just backdash after getting hit by the OH.” Not once…not once did you backdash after it. At the very start when you invited a partner to play it wasn’t a contest. They were matches for fun. Kayriss and I said they were matches for fun several times.
And to a casual observer you’d swear that I lost most of the rounds, but it was in fact the contrary. Out of the several matches we played (1v1) I lost count on how many I won and kayriss won VS your 2 or 3? And this was 10 minutes after your post at 10:50 all the way to 12:44 when kayriss dced and went to bed). If anyone even gives enough of a damn they can check both of our replay archives and verify this (I know they don’t).
And I did backdash out of it several times with Elena. With Nina I was fixated on AAing it with geyser (only got it once though x[ ) which I think is a little harder, but that doesn’t mean I never tried I got caught twice while backdashing with Nina and I’m honest enough to admit that. Hell I stuffed the OH at least 3 times when I wasn’t intending on doing so. And it’s not just bad spacing if 2nd impact on block never worked it’s called a “the shit doesn’t work”. It’s a gimmick. At some points kayriss and I in unison said that was a bit too risky when you did some things (like roll forward Kasatuchi when you had basically no life left).
Just because something doesn’t work doesn’t mean you should be offended when someone gets around it. For example when I first played Elena I thought that mk rhino > st.hk ( hit)> jump forward mk was a safe jump. I didn’t test it against likely moves and it always ate a reversal. Then after having enough of losing rounds because of my own ignorance and incompetence I found a better safe jump setup that actually worked. You just have to find better things instead of relying gimmicks or things that would not work outside the realm of reality. I mean dude it’s 12 chip damage for me vs the 300 you took for doing it. That in itself should’ve been an indication that it’s not worth it.
And you know another reason why I didn’t backdash often? Because most of the time I just blocked after getting hit. Which was my point. Who the hell is going to ex reversal off of a move that happens that quickly when you’re fixated on crouching lows. And every time your OH was blocked it was punished when you pressed a button after wards, which was my other point the move is not her best tool and I feel it’s better to zone with Juri and build meter for your partner. My 3rd point was if I’m unsure what you’d do I’d rather eat a throw compared to guessing wrong VS Nina and eat 400 damage and even if you guess right you are at a disadvantage. And even when I did backdash I took like 60 damage… How is that a deterrent?
In fact throughout those matches you were insulting me (while I was muted) and you were being all salty complaining about lag etc. How do you even invite someone to play as your partner to make an argument valid? And why be salty over matches that you essentially trivialized and made casual by inviting a partner…?
Cmon man be mature. It’s not even funny anymore. I get that Juri is your waifu so you feel personally offended when someone criticizes her, but to be an insulting dick about it is just not right. ESPECIALLY when you trivialized it and still mostly lost. And like I always say I’m not even good.
Hell as much as I disagree with Dex I’d like to think that on some level we have some mutual respect for one another, but you just make things unnecessarily frustrating and make it impossible to give you any form of positive acknowledgement. You should try her in 2013 it doesn’t hurt to see if she is more suited to you now. Her st.lk range is even more dominant now that others have had their footsie tools nerfed.
I actually punish better for some reason, just super sharp. Execution outside of links is a failure however. I get the link timing so problem, just fuck up everything else.
