I think I have to buy between 10 and 15 packs, some of which have become useless causes nerfs.
So 15 euros for a game I’ve played over 100 hours is correct even if capcom is a thief.
Besides other game have a life of 20h and cost a 70 euros.
Otherwise I put light on the fact that you had your attack on me as you continue to have other players who use the same gem that me in your friend list. It seems a little hypocritical.

Naturally another good period was last August in the DLC character forums. Especially “wtf did I just push and what did it do?” Aka the Lei forum.
As much as I love SFxT, I don’t support the pay to win DLC gems or its usage in competitive play. That is something that I just don’t do out of principle. I don’t condone its usage from other players but I ain’t giving props either. It’s not fair when both parties don’t have the access to it. I have far more useful things to spend my money on.
The concept of gems was a great idea ruined by the notion that they could milk profits out of it. They should have stuck to making them all free. Fighting games is not the right genre to have attempted this type of business model. Sorry.
Edit: The serious players of the community should just soft-ban them in casual play and they should be banned at tournaments. Are they banned officially? Or are they just not used in a gentlemen agreement type of thing?
I think it’s good game. Try to be more solid on your aa leaves you to focus on this for a while. Do not hesitate to throw jin on wake up. No jin tech throw.

I only remember playing with Kman and that was like last night. I have made my statement regarding these gems and I will slowly turn words into action. Sorry, if I am not vehement and fast enough for you. I enjoy SfxT, but in the end it’s just a game which I can quit playing, if I want to.
However, I will keep supporting those players who try to make this game more accessible for others by not using the aforementioned advantages. I will keep uploading new tech or other useful/useless stuff, I will keep checking the xT section on SRK and I will keep bashing ehubs for being b*tches towards the xT community.
I have played with people who usually use DLC gems but switch to free gems or even go gemless against me. There is still the hope for me to have fun without the stupid extras.
And yes I plan to go to the cinema soon. Probably gonna watch pain and gain.

I definitely agree though, playing Kuma doesn’t make fighting him any less scary. His footsie tools aren’t that great but he can do some terrible things to you once he gets a knockdown. Hunting Stance is pretty tricky.
When they released the ‘official’ gem sets, I hoped as a Ken player that they would include the SA gem in the Attack set. Ken having that sort of damage on a 2-frame super would be a beautiful thing.

I like the gem system but I agree completely.
Only gems used in tournaments are the default sample sets (the five that show up when starting anew). Personally most people I play with run these sets or at least very similar sets.
I went through the trouble of setting all characters in the roster to the default sets by hand the other week. It wasn’t as bad as I feared… but my god it would help to have a “reset to default” button.

But yeah, it was pretty much the five of us keeping the place alive.
Honestly I don’t even know if I blame the game completely as much as the site layout change. Also:
I feel that way about it as well. Not naming names but I know quite a few players that work a lot at the game that just don’t post here at all, either out of dislike for the site overhaul or other reasons. The problem is corralling a decent amount of info into one place so that when someone asks “hey, how do you play”, they can be directed easily to one thread/site/etc.
The compendium thread is a great start. I have an idea as well if time permits me between projects.
