Akuma vs Blanka seems like a torrid match for Blanka. As Akuma has all the tools to punish Blankaās specials and Blankaās wake up game is atrocious. I feel like you must figure out where my idea footsie range is and learn to drift just outside of it, in order to whiff punish with St.Mp. But Akuma players can and WILL very their footsie game and resort to Cr.Mk XX Fireball. And for the love of God, donāt be afraid to raw lunch when Shoto players do that Cr.Mp X2 block string.

I mean even if they were good players I would be weary of playing against someone who is using something that isnāt tournament legal. It teaches you to prepare for something that simply cannot happen under normal circumstances.

Curse of the online warrior. Chances for me to ever participate in an SFxT offline tournament are slim. There isnāt much going on in Europe except for the UK and maybe France and Belgium for SFxT.
PS.: Hugo is number 1, so there will only be one Hugo player.

Canāt record my matches, as I canāt go online on my HD TV. The cable isnāt long enough. But Iāll break down how I play the Blanka match as Akuma:
Be very cautious with your fireball spacing, Blanka punishes those for free.
Remember that Blanka Ball is very unsafe on block, and can be punished with a plethora of Akumaās attacks. I go for sweep as it sets up Akuma perfectly for his Demon Flip mix ups.
Blanka is free to safe jumps and OSās. USE THEM. Such as OS sweep or making him waste a bar with EX UP Ball by safe jumping.
Blanka has one meaningful overhead, but if you can react to the Tekken castās, youāll punish his accordingly.
His DF+HP should always be punished with your sweep. I donāt believe it is ever safe.
Very your block strings to bait launcher. For example, Cr.lp, Cr.Lp XX St.Lp, or Cr.Mp, St.Lp XX ClSt.Mp.
Anti Air with Cr.Hp if youāre unable to input SRK consistently. NJ.HK is a very solid anti air too.
