Oh right about why some scrubs mention that SFxT netcode is bad in their opinion;
Consider this from a true scrub perspective. What if they have bad internet, don’t care about input delay, and due to their absolutely horrid internet there would be a shit load of teleporting players on SFxT.
When people say they don’t like SFxT’s netcode, they usually always say somewhere along the lines of “SF4’s netcode is better”, some go as far as saying “Marvel’s netcode is better” Whys that? Scrubs don’t care about input delay. They’re not going to be doing anything other than mashing shoryukens and jump RH -> sweep and abusing their favorite gimmick. They’re not going to be doing links and what not. A 0 bar connection in SF4 going from west coast US to Sweden would probably be perfectly fine to them, they can still mash and do what they do best.
They won’t know the benefits of near GGPO like netcode if they don’t know how to benefit from it by improving themselves as a player.
They are kinda canon as far as character relationships and rivalry. The intro is based of of past fights so it is somewhat canon as well. But if he’s saying that scene for scene the intro is exactly how the fights happened (and the location) then not really.

I think it’s more to the netcode issue than just saying “SFxT is better 100% of the time”. If they are having issues in SF4 then it’d just be slow and laggy for both players, but in SFxT I remember playing a match against someone and it wasn’t lagging for me but for them it was laggy. And nothing sucks more than watching your character do a move then getting interrupted by your opponent. Even worse they could be on PS3 and forget to turn off vita matchmaking and trust me it’s horrible. Or they could be on PC and their opponent’s specs or their specs might not be up to par.
Even though it’s mostly blind hate I think there is some truth to it. Some days SFxT’s netcode fucking sucks and it’s awful when your opponent doesn’t have their connection secured. Some days I’d rather SF4’s netcode just because I’d rather deal with mutual lag than teleporting characters.
I’vre had fights were the fight is laggy…but only for me…and the opponent seems to be able to connect with everything whilst I drop combo’s 6/10 times.
That’s probably another legit reason, but again I’m talking about the absolute lowest common denominator in terms of play; they’re the large majority no matter what genre of games we’re talking.
The kinds of people that’ll go on gamefaqs and make a thread about nerfing Kazuya’s unblockable beam in Tekken Revolution while the thread gets 10-20 pages of “serious” back and forth discussion.
I know it’s laggy for both players when you drop stuff easy stuff like a jab and you drop that. That’s how I know it’s laggy for both when you can’t even follow up after a launcher. I hate lag with the deepest parts of my heart. Rollback gets my evilness to…glares at rollback I’m Fruitin’ watching you. >_>
Fortunately we have the option of not playing people that don’t have a good connection
Which sucks for me since I live in Hawaii rofl and anyone in central america would be 1 bar, any farther and it’s 0 2 bars max for California. So I have to avoid a LOT of 0 bar connections and deal with 1 bar turning 0 mid match against some Blanka/Hwo team.
I thought our matches went well. Besides I’ve fought germans, Chinese, and even Japanese who had better connections then some NA plaers.

I’ve had some laggy matches, but it’s almost always due to my ISP dropping the ball. Going from perfect to less than 1m/1m up-down… yeah. Thank God for Time Warner Speed Boost.
