Ditto. Trying to fight her with Ken is a whole new level of frustrating. Elena, Dudley, and whoever else felt beatable, but Nina’s a special case. The more I fight her, the more I hate her.
Technically every character can be a boost chainer, just don’t see the point when I can ruin your day with 30-40 percent combos from nina or mess with your head with air raid special resets from hwoarang…chainer… I like the sound of that. Yes im trying to come up with slang for our game just to sound cool.
I think he just suffers under solo phobia. I haven’t been doing much better with him though, but looking at his data he should be able to link into his special cancelable cl. Hp and cr. hp. Abel players also like to buffer far lk into boost chain. It’s a good normal.
Despite all the good talk about fundamentals sfxt does not force you to learn damaging hit confirms. Boost chains are everywhere. I wish they would limit the use of it and make characters that usually rely on it stronger.
Abel will use lots of boost combos. Its hhis best confirm off alot of hits hits (unless you want to EX tackle).
Plus, fMK>sHP is a great boost route, and you wil lbe using a ton of buffered sLK, and cLK for ticks.
Chun is somewhat manageable with Yoshimitsu.
I feel my normals can compete with chuns to a extent, she can’t whiff normals within windmill range like any other character, and occasionally I can punish the fire ball -> walk in -> poke with just windmill alone.
They certainly have to play differently. Of course I ain’t fucking with chun in the air, I’d prefer to stay on the ground, Yoshi’s jab SRK is a pretty amazing AA anyways compared to hers.
I feel that Chun is much like her 3S self to a extent somewhat minus the bullshit that is 2 stocks of SA2, but now she’s up against a cast of good characters so she’s not crazy dominant.
I think the only matchup I’m uncomfortable with as Yoshi is…A MIRROR MATCH.
Yoshi vs Yoshi is some retarded shit lol. Doing poison breaths? WINDMILL. Barely whiffed a poke? WINDMILL. Jump at your opponent? Jab SRK or WINDMILL. Charging windmill/whiffed windmill? TELEPORT BEHIND THEM. Flea stance? LOL FREE WINDMILL.

Weeeell because she’s just a character I sub lol. She’s a character in sub-main limbo. I started playing her when I saw how cool her combos looked, which was after I started playing Juri, Ibuki (RIP), Lili, Rolento and Xiaoyu. I consider Rolento (sadly) and Juri my better characters once I warm up, but Nina is a character I’m super comfortable with because has great tools (also I’m lazy and she is a nice character character help empower my lazy nature). Sooooo she’s like 3rd outta the non DLC gang and 4th when counting the entire roster.
Plus I love the rage she creates which is honestly the main reason why I play her - because you hate her xD. Like 9 times out of 10 if I get an inkling that you don’t like a character that I use then I’d probably use them.

After 2 weeks, I’m finally getting my new glasses today. Life without them is like looking at a 144p video on youtube and I’m not even lying.
I’ll play this week end, found some cool combos with Asuka alone and Asuka/Lili. Asuka can do EX falling rain after upkicks, hk x Oni if it hits the opponent to send him high enough. And when you tag to Lili after upkicks, she can follow up with mk angel knee, j.mp-hp, fmk-hp. These aren’t optimal damage wise but they’re cool to do, I’m usually going for meter building combos with Lili and damaging ones with Asuka anyway.

lol without my glasses, I literally only see colors. Like this laptop screen is a good 2-3 feet away and pretty much your whole post is a bunch of super fuzzy dots with your avatar being a faceless mannequin with blonde hair.

Yeesh, and I thought my eyesight without glasses was bad…guess I should be grateful that I can still see well enough without them. I mean, I can’t read letters from a certain distance but I can still see everything else well enough to navigate around perfectly fine, and I can still play games (I just won’t be able to read any text).
I have been considering contact lenses recently but I’m not sure about that.
Anyways, I got a good amount of Elena X Asuka footage to upload, so that’s gonna be taking a while. But once that’s done, I’ll be putting up the Ogre/Abel combo and tech vids. :3
Fortunately I’ve never had problems with my eyes.

Cause Eventhubs monsters don’t know a good netcode even if it bit them on the ass. Playing against HDJammerz last night on a 2 bar connection and still having enjoyable matches (better than even some 3 bar matches on SF4) just proves that. Of course, my ISP maybe loves them UK connections, other European countries are laggier But still Eventhubs monsters are so used to playing with input lag at this point they are completely oblivious to it.
People who think SFxT’s netcode is bad must be crazy. At full strength it feels like a solid ‘2’ on GGPO.

that moment when you realize that Perfect Cell (DBZ) and Rolento (SFxT) are the same person. It all makes sense now…
Cammy does fine still, one of the best local players is a Cammy player in SFxT and we have a few others.
Diemineon does really well with Cammy in the U.S in SFxT.
I think she’s fine where she is, she’s not top tier, but she has a lot of strengths like her air normals and jab pressure that keep her competitive.
