Don’t have a “full” anti-Nina guide, but after a few games against a couple of different Nina players, Nina doesn’t seem be able to punish a st.lk xx st.mp boost from Elena. None of Nina’s moves that are “fast” enough actually reach (st.mp, cr.mp, and cr.mk all miss), and the ones that do reach are too slow to actually punish (and all those moves are - on block anyway). So you can use it as a safe-confirm vs her in footsies.
You gotta teach me how to deal with that chick. Seriously, I didn’t know what to do. It felt like 3S Chun all over again.

Is Abel a LLLMHH character? All the Abels I have faced so far do this. And on a laggy match it gets annoying, specially when they are mashing command grabs and armored chain of direction. Maybe I am just unfamiliar with the match up in this game.
I plan on learning Elena for USF4, I think she will be pretty cheap and have crazy high/low mix-ups in USF4.

My only advice is block low a lot until she comes into cr.mp range and punish SS with st.lk. And you can harass Nina with st.lk > Lk lynx. That’s pretty much all I got though. xD
Also you forgot her best block string cr.MK > EX Rolling dash > Back hand 200 damage for blocking son. xD"

Kind of. He has a few decently powerful juggles which help post tag/launch, but his confirms primarily lead into boost chains. Not always, but many-a-time.

Sidenote: I suck so much ass at playing on stick in this game it’s insane, but in SF4 I can use the stick just fine. Also on stick I can hit 1 frame links a lot easier than on controller and I could plink on stick much easier than controller. Woe is me. =(

<puts on hipster shades> Been using her pretty much since the DLC characters were released… But to be fair I didn’t really start maining her on a team till pretty recently.
I think the mixups off of Lynx Tail and EX Rhino will be even more powerful in that game since there are no rolls.
I wouldn’t have even bought this game if Elena weren’t in it, to be honest.
Did the same with Marvel and Felicia, but… damn. Even the strongest love can not conquer a game built on hate.
