they fight the same??? I actually would like that team. Team style so hard. But that team would need so much meter.
it sucks because both characters really need meter to do stuff so they essentially have to fight over it, i see what you did there capcom. The team will get tons better after the patch with Lili being able to build meter and asuka being able to use it.
Only airheads need meter… >.>
Seriously, Asuka’s only real use of meter is as an AA against crossups and the handful of jump-ins her f+lk loses to… she doesn’t need it offensively.
I’m officially done with ranked at 7090 points. I’m only playing endless until 2013 comes out, which better reset the rankings so I can be a true endless monster. But seriously, screw every damn safe chain, every dp safe tag, every roll into reversal, every jump in that can’t be dealt with without meter, every filthy scrub who walks forward and spams light punches and kicks because IT WORKS SO DAMN WELL!
For me, endless seems to be far better. I guess because people focus on winning rather than getting points. I remember facing a down back Guile with yellow gems, it was awful. Just because he wanted the points, he literally played for time. I haven’t played ranked in ages, and it just feels better being an endless monster.
Yup, I don’t give a fuck how many matches I gotta’ lose, I am going to learn Nina and play her. Nina wiil be in 80% of my matches from here on out. I’m going to get smoked for a good while because of it but fuck it, I’m learning this character. I’m not even sure what sparked this. I don’t even have a gif to show my fury right now.
…er… * cough *
anyways uh, GGs to BadIntent, Silph and Paranoia Hades :D:sweat:
I don’t have a problem with that per say, I just feel that where I’m at right now skill-wise (read: I’m still pretty bad), I don’t get much out of point-grinding in ranked. I much prefer Endless, especially when there’s 3-4 people (5-6 people gets kinda’ overcrowded, too long between matches) with a diverse character selection or playing characters I struggle against, as that helps me infinitely more when I can play those matches repeatedly.
Sorry, I was just letting my salt spill. Mainly because he’s one of the highest ranked UK players.
Endless just seems, what’s the word, more educational. Like you can REALLY learn how to fight a character, in comparison to ranked. Plus, I’ve run into far more killers in endless, but I have met strong players in ranked (when I played it).
LOL I figured that was some salt! But outside of that, I agree really. I don’t feel like I learn as well as I can in Ranked. Also, if I run into a good player in Endless, that’s far better for me since I can get more than a few matches to figure out and understand the finer points and what I need to do to improve.
And I’m sure this effect doesn’t just happen to me.When you lose in ranked you’re like “Damn! I just lost my points to this jumping Mishima scrub!” In endless you can be a lot more objective and think “This is what I need to work on”. Another benefit of endless. I hope the points get reset, as it would be fun to make people believe I’m new to the game. Dat trolling with neon Gief.
YES OMFG I HATE TO SAY IT, and all in caps, BUT I CAN’T WAIT TILL THEY ARE GONE. I’M LIKE YOU WAIT TILL 2013 WHEN YOU HIT A CHAIN AND I FUCKING BLOW YOUR FACE OFF FOR IT!
I been having a hard time getting ranked matches lately. Most guys always leave even when the connection is fine. Is there an alert on me somewhere I don’t know about?
I also feel like I’m the only remaining Poison on PSN. I haven’t seen another Poison in months and the stuff in the replay channel is usually out of date. This sucks as I’m not the creative type.
PSN connection has been downright ass lately. Honestly there are like no Poison players left on PSN, it’s sad. I recommend checking the Paris Qualifier archives (if you haven’t checked that out yet) for the Poison that got 2nd place there. I don’t know anything about Poison but to get 2nd place against some strong players must mean they’re doing something right.
