Awesome work BadIntent! Any reason why they didn’t have the DLC characters for the game even when they started advertising sfxt 2013 for SCR over a week ago?
Also I would like to point out yet again, how baffled I am about the high level players (Justin, Ricky, Infil etc) still not knowing about the changes like throwing rolls etc., and trying to attack them instead. It’s almost like they are above doing research or something. What surprises me even more is that Combofiend himself doesn’t get all his stuff right, and that disappointing me. I think it was Mike Ross that asked him if command grabs grabed rolls, and Combofiend said only normal throws, but BadIntent just told us command throws do work!

From what distance can you still AA properly after a backward fireball? You can estimate this roughly, obviously it can’t be 100% accurately explained.

Is cr. mk still good? Did you notice it losing to certain pokes that it normally would have beaten out??

-Does ex kazagiri have less pushback on hit so you’re able to hit with either J.HP or J.HK afterwards at max range (hoping this might be some sort of stealth change)
-Is kazagiri (Normal and/or Ex) a reversal (Again hoping this might be a stealth change)
It’s only the EX version, and the property is “unblockable standing”, which is a hit property.
EX Raida is unblockable? I had no idea XD
It’s blockable while crouching, but not while standing. Therefore, its ability to punish rolls will depend on whether they count as a standing or crouching state.
Alright so I couldn’t really test anything today. Played a long time in tournament and spent the entire rest of the day getting in casuals. Got to fight so many good players, some well known, others not so much but still very very solid. Played about 40 games against ROTB Coffee and another long set against Dieminion. Went about even with both. Disappointed about 4th, but Noej is a friend I met a couple months ago and he’s extremely good even though he hasn’t been playing much lately. Will be running through that list tomorrow to let you guys know how the changes affect the game and Ill have the entire day to test stuff and practice. Oh and SFxT was all done off stream aftwr the first few rounds. I have a ton of matches and you guys will get to see Noej’s insane Yoshi Kazuya. Electrics EVERYWHERE.

Also please no more shit talking about Ricky. They nerfed the hell out of Rufus, made chains unsafe and he STILL won. He is great at the game and anyone who doesn’t think so needs to get over themselves.
Ricky beat Infiltration!!! Holy fuck…nerfed Rufus and all.
Unfortunately…the only thing that likely did is made Infiltration angry.
Believe it or not, but I think the nerfs to Rufus kind of helped him in a way lol. He now is FORCED to use fewer normals to hitconfirm, which he is more than capable off. And also rely on other stuff than constant divekick pressure. I will give props to anyone sticking with Rufus in 2013!

Had fun playing you though, wish I could’ve got some casuals in. I was the Bob/Abel btw 
AFAIK there was never much question that Ricky was good at the game. He is good at most games he plays because he is a great player, period. People talked shit about him because when he gets blown up it’s NEVER his fault or on the rare occasions he admits it’s his fault he plays down the skill of the other player as much as possible and makes it about the character/matchup/alignment of the stars/randomness.
But that doesn’t mean he isn’t good at the game. And with 2013 dropping, evo lineup, and other factors SFxT will be more popular for a while at least among top players and that means that Ricky will have strong competition and that only means he’ll get better.
Ricky has the potential to be the best (like no one ever was…) at SFxT because he seems to genuinely like the game and the style of the game fits his playstyle very well. That doesn’t mean he isn’t as poor of a loser as FChamp (another very good player).
Ricky’s ego is either going to be the thing that makes him the best, or the thing that keeps him from ever being the best.
Props to him for adapting though after Infiltration made him look super free during the exhibition.
I’ve never had anything against Ricky he doesn’t spam light kicks with rufus and he isn’t dropping him in AE lol. Its nice to know that he won
Shout outs to tasty steve calling you BadInternet during your matches on stream. That’s crazy Ricky beat the unstoppable Infiltration. How are you liking 2013 so far? Does it feel totally different compared to 2012? Do you feel it’s gonna be the big break alot of ppl expect it to be to get them back into the game or if they didn’t like it now they still won’t find the appeal like we do?

Your Bob/Abel was looking pretty good. I heard from GLK you’re on PSN but I don’t remember seeing ANY Bob players on PSN, where you been hiding out at??:wow:
