I am starting to seriously think that I am not fit or worthy of Sakura.
She is pretty good, but I struggle badly to apply her tools, use her pressure properly and open my opponents up.
If I don’t improve in the next two weeks, I may need to beg forgiveness to my husbando Gief and return to that Gief life.

If you’ve been dedicated to one character for 25 years, you’re at the point of no return. Itazan has the skill to leave Gief and create a better future with a better big boy, but if you have muscle memory for Gief that long as your level it’s probably best to just stick to and improve. Most of my early tournament life was winning locals and placing well at majors with irrelevant characters in 3S and ST so in the end who you have your heart in you’ll get the most out of.
It’s tough to play a character that’s better when your heart isn’t in it. It’s easier for me now to move to playing top tier characters especially in games that I don’t main, but they have to at least click with me and what I like to do. It’s still not really possible for me to play a character I just dont click with even if they’re top.
Sakura clicks pretty well with me and I am having a lot of fun playing her.
But I guess I am just too old to be able to adapt to a new play style. I am just struggling with her, no matter how much I try.
Sometimes things land just right and I can use her tools properly and it feels great… but then the next day I just fail to keep the momentum going and there come tons of losses.
Not having an SPD makes my life a bit more complicated.
Still, I am very stubborn and will continue to keep trying to make this work before admitting defeat.

I will stick with Sakura till the 1st Latam South online tournament. If I haven’t improved by then, I will go back to Gief nation.

So disappointed by Big Bird Zeku performance. I mean, if you still didn’t optimized the character just stick with Rashid and Ken. He threw away the match vs Bonchan,smh.
