I remember back in SF4 when I’d do the Sakura taunt where she leaned over and said “Are you for real?” That shit was the best. The other one I enjoyed was Ryu’s “Get serious”, which I’d usually cancel into a SRK FADC into Metsu Hadouken.
I only taunted whenever I got taunted or teabagged, though. I don’t condemn anyone who does it, but it just ain’t my style. Whenever I get teabagged in SFV, I just accept it and hold my L. The only time it usually happens is if I’m stunned and basically finished, anyway.
Most of the people in higher ranks dont tea bag or troll that much luckily. Once you start fighting more tournament goer/famous players you get less of the “hee hee hoo hah I beat you” people who wanna troll and tea bag just because they got the life lead or won the second match after you beat them the first one. Lower ranks tend to facilitate that behavior more because they know they have no shot of getting much better than they are, so might as well troll people around you. I can’t even remember the last time someone taunted me. You have to hit all 6 buttons to taunt now so without macros it’s kinda cumbersome. In 3rd Strike I used to do combos into my taunt, but it’s too much of a bother now.
