So it was better than SFV pre-release? Because they went crazy with patches from the jump.
You do, but they charge through normal and special recovery, so I imagine it’s going to be a breeze to throw one out, throw out a huge normal, then already have one up again. We could already see on the WSO stream people were getting the hang of having one ready to go constantly
Last patch I played was when Liu Kang was +2 on ex bike kick.
The Tom Brady bitched and cried about that despite it being known from day 1 and that got taken away.
Latest patch went full retard. They took out all armored reversals that leads to a combo/juggles.
Also they took out all moves that are over +9.
Fun game but it was ultimately ruined by crybabies. Looks like sfv is heading the same path too.

Yeah it’s like dealing with Zero. It doesn’t matter if you can see that he has buster charged. It’s ridiculous and its going to take a space that you have to respect. Plus her j.MP, j.HP and j.HK are all big ass air normals that she can throw around while that’s charged.
Then add in VT1 and she can cancel any air button into the fireball also. At that point it doesn’t matter that you can see that it’s charge, it’s a problem that you gotta deal with until she lets go of the charge.
In general an air fireball that you can use jumping backwards in this game is going to shit on a lot of people’s neutral. It’s like a light version of how ST Akuma bodied a lot of the cast because he could put an air fireball in a space that most of the cast had no real answer for.
I haven’t been there in years. So no skin off my bones. But I’ve been on the forums. So…that’s all I’ll say.
Gamefaqs is great for FAQs and walkthroughs. The boards are another story though. A lot of trolls and the discussion is super casual. There’s this one guy who thinks it’s the most ultimate injustice that Chun has more costumes than Laura. To the extent that I even see him in twitch chats bringing it up lol.

Chun is too fair. She doesn’t really have the fireball game or jump button range of Falke. Falke can technically play from a much larger range than Chun and has a jump back airfireball which commands way more space vs a lot of characters than she can. Most characters can’t even fireball on the ground that well, so a character that can fireball on the ground and then go up in the air backwards and take up that diagonal space that’s normally forbidden to do, it’s gonna be a problem.
Chun also doesn’t have the bnb damage dump that Falke does. Falke has stuff off her counter s.MP and j.HP/HK that hurts really nice for one meter. Falke has from what I’m seeing longer ranged grounded CC’s that are easier to bully with in neutral as well and also has much better conversions into V Skill to build V Gauge.
I wanna stream SFV but I’m even worse than before now so I’m losing in some embarrassing ways lol. Poor Abigail…
Plus she’s going to play the NRS style of having a projectile that will, presumably, not clash with any other projectile save for goofy ones like F.A.N.G’s Cloud or maaayyybbee Guile’s V-Skill. She’s controlling the space as long as that thing is charged, and considering her damage is high like Guile/Sim, that bodes well for her

Hah, had that exact same feeling a few days ago playing KI. Rusty as balls, almost forgot how to play fighters. Twas sad.
