Regarding Falke’s animations, have you considered that she is a stiff, reserved, cold, distant, and very controlled character and therefore her animations reflect her lore. She is a bred to be a perfectionist, and her movements are efficient, with little waste.

Her animations only look stiff in her story costume. Her main costume has more fluidity thanks to the fabric physics.

No excuses for that CA though. Absolutely terrible.

Well, her CA animation is really whack and the only one that bugs me. Like that is NOT a trick that you close your act with.

That first Twin gif is goddamn funny.

The real rubber meets the road moment is going to be the WSO demo. Those are way better for getting a sense of what the character really looks like in game (aesthetically and mechanically) so I’m reserving real judgement until we get that.

Also congrats @Doctrine_Dark. That is fucking rad.

Real talk - have they made any fixes to the netcode or is it the same as it’s always been? I don’t have PSN anymore so I can’t just go on and test it.

I heard how people couldn’t connect for like 5 days in early April before Capcom even acknowledged there was a problem, so I’m guessing it’s still complete and utter shit.

Same netcode. I’ve been having the same spectrum of connections that I’ve had since early S2 in this game.

WSO is today? Alright, that’s cool. I’m going to watch the first segment in training mode, interested in her moveset and how her normals and specials behave in isolation.

She looks like Sweet Dee from I’ts always Sunny in Philadelphia. She even has a bird name.

Vesper went ahead and unofficially confirmed that she has a standing low with her back heel kick.

I will remain sceptical until the WSO stream in 3 hours.
And by sceptical I mean reservedly hype.

From what I’m seeing she doesn’t have an overhead so it may not be too fun to be true. I mean she already has a dive kick that can be used while jumping backwards and and is now the only other character in the game with a real air fireball.

I mean the proof is already in the video/pictures since theres no way Bison can leave standing proximity block and get hit by that button unless it hits low. Just by numbers and logic that’s the only way it can hit unless they did some crazy space editing.

All of this is pretty much making her the closest the game is going to get to a Rose function. Possible real fireball, absorb/reflect, seemingly no overhead but can move up to you with lows and good buttons seemingly well, solid looking cross up, should have solid AA, probably some type of EX reversal, I’m in.

Floe seems to really like her so far also.
