The blog post was very insightful. I think this is the first one that gives a run through of her special moves. Her having “Ed” inputs isn’t that big of a deal to me. The Zero Buster charging for her projectiles seems pretty left field but overall she doesn’t really look too difficult to pilot, at least on paper.
Look at the second last VT2 combo in the trailer, for example (00:49). She does (what I’m guessing) is j.HK, st.MP, st.LKxx V-Skillxx Psycho Shniede (PP)xx Psycho Klinge (down+HP+HK). Then the very last VT2 combo she does some kinda command kick normal into V-skill xx Katapult xx Psycho Sturm (HP+HK) right into CA.
I really think her negative edge projectiles will come into play for VT1 shenanigans. But hey, time will tell. Either way I’m pumped
Looked at trailer again. I’m getting Last Blade vibes and I don’t know why…her hairstyle reminds me of Setsuna…im mos def using her or at least giving her a lot of time in training mode…I like this character DevilJin was right she’s very interesting
People complain about new things and think everything should be catered to their individual preferences. I won’t pretend that I’m not guilty of the same thing. You’ve seen me complain about the new forum format.
I’m gonna work to have the best battle lounge Falke. I can find small little techs and things, but I’m usually better at just stealing tech and coming up with ways to use a character neutrally that others sleep on. I picked out Sak’s s.HP and j.HK real early and been using that before they buffed her b+HP. Need those safe confirms and unga jump ins.
To me the PP or KK commands are basically just 2 button lariats or no charge TAPs. It’s not really like a revelation or anything. You get EX versions at least when Lariat doesn’t even get an EX. Capcom tried to put it off as some crazy thing and people freak out about it, but eh lariats with EX commands to me.
I’m happy this far, can’t wait to play her.
Gonna be fun figureing her out.

When I was a full time Bison back in the day I was always on the offensive side,no reason to hold back outside buffering specials during combos or a jump. Nemo use Urien and Daigo have Guile, none of them played theirs characters in a full lame way.
If there’s no difficulty pulling something off there’s also no satisfaction in doing so. I’m not a huge fan of SF charge moves but I have to admit that Chun’s SBK B’n’B is one of the most rewarding little combos in the game because you actually have to learn it before you can do it.
Every baby can hit a button and then hit another two right after that. Yeah it works and on paper it’s the same but it’s dull.
I used to have that same thought on charge characters until SFV came around and FANG was the only character I wanted to play. I find them really fun now.
Now that I think about it, I might dislike taps because the only character with the inputs is boring as shit so I haven’t gotten used to them.
Ehh when the story costumes leaked, G’s costume was themed very suspiciously like Q, which made me fear he’s supposed to be Q’s replacement or something.
