I’m really considering it. Depends on her buttons, mobility, and damage output. Birdie’s been fun for me but using him is much more challenging since 3.5 dropped. Nonetheless I’m excited to unwrap her.
Her normals are going to be compromised and Capcom is going to be merciless on her. Capcom cant afford to have stream monsters complain about how lame ranged normals are because E-Sports.
To do that Capcom will make her staff normals:
-negative on hit
-negative on block
-extended hurtbox. Bonus if there is a stray hurtbox like ST new T Hawk.
-narrow hitbox completely overlapped by extended hurtbox
-hitbox ends before the tip of the staff
-huge whiff recovery
-lack of reversal

Yeah Sak has really good AA overall. Unless you’re dealing with like an air fireball or dive kick it’s pretty easy to AA with her.
Menat has disjointed hit box on her orb, so maybe we can get disjointed hit box character number 2. She just looks cool so I’ll give her at least her first DLC Downplay week to mess around with her.

Menat is probably a rare case though where they had to give her disjoints on her orb buttons. Without her orb her buttons get much weaker outside of cancel properties and her only real movement is her walk speed and dives. If someone gets in on Menat she pretty much has 3 frame button, throw or v trigger to try to change things around. V Reversal will get punished (although it can get you out of the corner) and otherwise can only bank on blowing all your resource with super.
Hisako in KI has a bladed staff and it definitely has a lot of hurtbox around most of the buttons. A lot of her buttons basically worked where range was the only advantage and if the opponent hit their button first it would usually win even if it was shorter ranged. Odds are Falke’s buttons will be more like Sim’s unless she has like some stance or crippling weakness where they can balance her around disjoints. Sim has anime game level of movement and can float in an area of the screen where basically almost no one can play footsies with him so he would be pretty busted with disjoints.

The only other picture of him is his CG from the trailer. Looks like he has more color to his eyes and the lighting hits him a bit better in the newer pic.
Supposedly the gold on his body is actually a map of the world “tattooed” around him. Like apparently North and South America are on his right arm.
I hate Cammy’s normals, especially now I don’t have Karin ones to save my ass in the ground against her. The Zeku vs Cammy mu is pretty strange, she forced me to use the Old form instead of the powerful one. I need to practicing more against that thot. Hope for Cammy players Capcom don’t listen to the community complaints or she’s going to be obliterated in the next season.

Would like a Streets of Rage 4 since it’ll be a better fighting game than SFV but I doubt it. Instead of VF6 how about Fighting Vipers 2
Anyone who thought it was going to be VF6 or SOR4 was high on the day they were thinking about it. That shit ain’t happening dont even bother. I dont trust a new SOR to be good or faithful to the old games any ways. After seeing shit like Final Fight Streetwise if they go for some AAA attempt at it it’ll just be terrible. Those type of games just dont work in 2018 anymore unless you indie/retro develop it. That’s why Sonic is always in such a mess unless they do some retroish release of the game.
VF6 would get swallowed up in all of the shit that’s out now so they probably shouldn’t bother with that either. Especially if they plan the typical keep it in arcades for 2 years like Tekken shit I wont care enough to mess with it.
