Necalli still has a more interesting move list than Kolin.
Of all the ice powers they can give her, the best Capcom can come up with are stupid looking Honda/Gen chops and a piece of hail? Everyone is going to forget how her v-skill looks like a few years from now.
Her normals are even more bland. The only character that has more dull looking normals is Ed.
I guess VT2 made Kolin more complete and maybe even fun to play but design wise, hers was a failure. I guess she has waifu status so it’s not a total failure.
People wasn’t ready for that change (me too), you know that. Last part of '90 was the beginning of 3d fighters and SF reached his peak back then. Capcom probably goes too far with the SF3 roster, but SFA was there anyway,so no harm,no foul. Most of the SF3 characters are the most requested now and some of them are already in SFV, maybe that could happen with some of SFV newcomers in future iterations.
As someone who never properly played SFIII, I really like the newcomers from that series. I’ve always been fond of more wacky designs, which is why I also liked both Seth and Hakan in SFIV.
